The lower reaches of the Yellow River during the middle and late Neolithic period in China was an important activity area for the Dongyi tribes in prehistoric China.An important part of its prehistoric culture is the Houli,Beixin,Dawenkou,Longshan,Yueshi and other cultural periods.Among them,the Dawenkou culture period is an important part of its civilization development.The pottery of the Dawenkou Culture period has distinct characteristics,mainly red pottery,sand-filled pottery,gray pottery,white pottery,and black leather pottery.Among them,the goblet-shaped utensil is a typical utensil in the Dawenkou culture period,which is widely popular in the central and southern parts of the Haidai area.Its production technology is mainly black leather pottery,and the black leather pottery firing process of Dawenkou culture has laid a solid foundation for the firing of black pottery eggshell pottery of Longshan culture in the future.Dawenkou culture goblets have been found in large numbers,with unique shapes and rich styles.Its existence to a certain extent reflects the characteristics of the times and social relations at that time,and reflects the superb pottery making technology in the Dawenkou culture period,which is of great significance for the study of prehistoric culture.By studying the production process and firing process of the goblet,it can help us to have a deeper understanding of the Dawenkou culture’s spirit and pursuit of beauty.Although a large number of goblets have been unearthed during the Dawenkou Culture period,they have been buried underground for a long time and have been damaged by natural and human factors.When unearthed,very few were intact,and some even became separate fragments.This has created obstacles for us to protect and study the original goblin.Based on this situation,the author will restore the original production and firing process of the Dawenkou culture goblet,and combine with its own cultural relic restoration and reproduction technology to completely restore the Dawenkou culture goblet.This method can not only deeply restore the shape of the goblet,but also does not damage the original relic.It is an effective protection and research method for some seriously damaged pottery goblets.This paper studies and records from the aspects of modeling characteristics,mud material selection,molding method,firing process,repair and old process.The restoration and reproduction methods of the Dawenkou Culture pottery gob were introduced in detail.In the process,the cultural value contained in this type of vessel was more deeply understood,and the aesthetics and cultural relic restoration techniques were improved.We try to publicize the artistic civilization achievements of Dawenkou culture,and do our best to protect and inherit the original pottery. |
