Erhu Work "Taohuawu" Research On Music Analysis And Playing Techniques

Taohuawu is an Erhu work written by young composer Li Yuanqing to participate in the 36th Jiangnan Style Erhu Works(Solo,Ensemble)Collection activity of the 36th"Shanghai Spring" International Music Festival.The name of Taohuawu originated from Taohuawu Street and its surrounding areas in Suzhou,and became famous for Tang Bohu’s song "Song of Peach Blossom Cottage"The whole song takes the traditional five-tone and adds Suzhou Pingtan music elements to the work.In this work,the Erhu absorbs the characteristics of Suzhou Pingtan singing,while the piano melody is the passing music of the Pingtan accompaniment instruments Sanxian and Pipa.Among the Erhu works,there are many works of Jiangnan style,but there are few Jiangnan music,which integrates the charm of Suzhou Pingtan and is lively and jumping,which is a breakthrough in both creation and performance.This paper mainly analyzes and studies the creation background,music structure,music style and performance techniques,as well as the harmony and sound texture characteristics of the work.
