The Expression Of Subjective Color In Contemporary Urban Female Figure Painting

Since modern times,there have been more and more works of art with the theme of "female figures",and their forms of expression have also tended to be diversified.In the choice of subject matter,many artists take urban women in the new era as the subject of their paintings.Contemporary artists depict not only the external images of urban women,but also focus on depicting their inner emotions.Many painters,while basing themselves on the spirit and concept of traditional painting,learn from the western form of expression-"subjective color" to enhance the visual impact of the picture.These creative works contain the artist’s own artistic personality language,and also perfectly demonstrate the unique charm and characteristics of the "subjective color" artistic technique,and are deeply loved by people.How to correctly grasp the artistic expression of subjective colors in urban female subjects is the key point.The first part of the article makes a brief overview of color connotation and subjective color connotation.Secondly,it makes relevant concepts and definitions for the subject of "urban women".Finally,starting from the representative figure painter,it interprets the color expression style of contemporary meticulous figure painting works.With the theme of "urban women" as the main theme,the results and causes of painter Zhuang Daojing’s use of subjective colors are analyzed through the method of case studies.Trying to analyze the emotional appeal and expression in his representative works from the aspects of composition,color and thought,and discover the charm and characteristics of subjective color.The second part of the article narrates the source of the author’s creative subject,discusses the image expression and emotional expression of "urban women",and analyzes the metaphor and beauty of female characters from three aspects.The last two parts of the article apply the artistic characteristics of "subjective color" to self-creation through the understanding of "subjective color".The source,creative thinking and process of personal works are discussed in detail.In the application of subjective color,the author takes two graduation works as examples to analyze the expression of subjective color in the creation,and analyzes the color composition relationship in the picture from the aspects of purity,light and shade,and warmth,and then explores the artistic characteristics of subjective color.The specific presentation in the picture will further understand the substantive application of subjective color in the author’s creation.
