The Expression And Application Of Light And Shadow Language In Illustration

In daily life,light and shadow is always a crucial topic.As one of the artistic expression languages,the language of light and shadow is widely used in illustration.However,the expression ways of the language of light and shadow are different in illustration.According to the extent of the painter’s subjective initiative,the expression ways can be divided into three kinds: the true expression of light and shadow,the selective expression of light and shadow and the creative expression of light and shadow.In the creation of illustration,the language of light and shadow is always a crucial part,which plays a role of guiding the sight,creating focus,creating atmosphere,conveying emotion,expressing space,expressing time and hinting at offpicture information.Finally,based on personal experience in illustration creation,I analyze my thinking and experience on the use of light and shadow language in the creation process.In the analysis of personal illustration creation,the author divides the use of "light" language and "shadow" language into two parts respectively.By exploring the role of the language of light and shadow in the picture and the profound meaning behind it,I hope to help creators better use the language of light and shadow,let readers better understand the meaning behind the language of light and shadow in the illustration,and also add some richness to the study of the language of light and shadow in the scope of illustration.
