| In the 1960 s and 1970 s,the phenomenon of "Mono-ha" appeared in Japan.The emergence of "Mono-ha" does not follow the trend of western art and integrate eastern philosophy into the theory of "Mono-ha" art.It starts from the self-criticism of modernity and explores and develops in relation to the outside world and otherness.From the middle of 1969 to the second half of 1970,"Mono-ha" came into being and had a great impact on the Japanese modern art circle.After world War II,"materialism",along with "Minimalism","Arte povera","Anti-form" and other art schools in Europe and America,broadened the dimension of world art history."Mono-ha" not only in the history of East Asian art,but also in the context of world civilization is still flashing brilliant thoughts.The emergence of "Mono-ha" and "Place theory" is similar in time,and the social development problems they face are similar.Both of them reflect and criticize modernism.The significance of the study of " Mono-ha" to the study of "place" can be summarized in two aspects: first," Mono-ha" creates a new conjugation for "theory of place" in the field of modern art;Second,the attention to eastern philosophy in the art theory of the " Mono-ha" opens up a new perspective related to "place" in the eastern context. |
