| Liu Zhibai is one of the important representative painters of contemporary splash ink landscape painting.His splash ink landscape painting is rooted in tradition.His works live alone on the basis of tradition,have personal characteristics and have a significant impact on the contemporary.His pictures are dripping with ink,full of composition,and the integration of thought and scenery,showing a unique ink splashing technique and full of vitality.In Liu Zhibai’s paintings,he integrated the core thought of Taoism into his pen and ink,forming the painter’s unique expression form of splash ink landscape.The thought expressed by his splash ink landscape comes down in one continuous line with the thought of Taoism.Throughout the Taoist thought,"Taoism follows nature" is the core concept of Taoism,emphasizing the harmonious coexistence between man and nature.It is not only the core concept of Taoism,but also the internal thought of Liu Zhibai’s painting.The formation of Liu Zhibai’s ink splashing language in his later years is a painting language system of his own refined by painters in their long-term observation of nature,summing up the laws of nature and expressing the feelings of nature and self experience.This kind of painting language is in line with the laws of the objective world grasped by artists of previous dynasties and the aesthetic norms of the Chinese nation.It is the product of traditional culture and bred from traditional culture,It has a relatively strong national character and characteristics of the times.In his later years,through a large number of sketching exercises,he refined his painting language symbols accurately and integrated them into the perception of life.Therefore,his paintings are thick,integrated and far-reaching,in line with the pursuit of Taoism and reflect the harmony and balance between man and nature.This paper summarizes the change of landscape painting from the early years to the later years.Through the specific analysis of the characteristics of Liu Zhibai’s landscape painting works in different periods,this paper points out the role of copying tradition and landscape painting in learning landscape painting and its influence on my creative way. |
