Oil painting is an imported product from the West.Since oil painting was introduced into China,it has been continuously integrated with China’s local culture,forming a Chinese oil painting with a strong ethnic flavor and diverse styles.This is inseparable from the arduous exploration of the vast number of Chinese oil painting art creators.As a member of them,Tomusi has always adhered to the pursuit of independent artistic style.In his artistic creation,he placed his love on the grasslands of Inner Mongolia in his hometown to show the unique grassland culture and Carrying forward the simple and mellow ethnic spirit as the creative goal;in the exploration of oil painting language,he has eclectic and eclectic from traditional and different types of painting forms,forming works of art with strong ethnic characteristic and decoration.His artistic style not only has strong Chinese cultural characteristics,but also has always been based on observing life in spiritual expression.Throughout the road of Tuomusi’s artistic exploration,it has a distinct practice track and outstanding artistic achievements.By studying the characteristics of Tuomusi’s artistic style and analyzing the decorative factors contained in his works,we can not only understand Tuomusi comprehensively and objectively.It is the expression method of the decorative painting language of Sri Lanka,and it has practical enlightenment significance for the creation of the diversified appearance of Chinese oil painting.At present,there have been many remarkable research results in the domestic research on Tuomusi painting art,but none of them have been studied from the perspective of decoration,especially the decorative factors contained in his works and the reasons for such factors.No in-depth analysis was performed.On the basis of sorting out the previous research results,this paper focuses on the color,shape,composition and texture of Tuomusi’s oil paintings to explore the specific expression of its decorativeness,and combines many factors to analyze its causes in depth.This article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter explains the related concepts of painting decoration and introduces the artist Tomusi and the development of his painting art.Through the investigation of the existing decorative literature,the concept of "decoration","decorative painting" and "painting decoration" is defined,and the development process of Tuomusi oil painting is discussed from the perspective of painting decoration.Analyze the decorative performance characteristics of his works in different creative stages.The second chapter analyzes the decorative elements in Tuomusi’s oil paintings from the four aspects of color,shape,composition and texture,which are the most basic formal elements of painting.Explain the basic performance characteristics of different formal elements when they contain decoration and make in-depth analysis in combination with specific works.The third chapter,based on the background of the times and the geographical environment where Tuomusi lived,combined with the three important factors of Inner Mongolian folk art,Chinese traditional culture and Western modern art that were obviously absorbed in Tuomusi’s works,to make an objective analysis The reasons for the formation of ornamentality in Tomusi’s oil paintings.The fourth chapter analyzes the unique value of the decorative language of Tuomusi oil painting and its enlightenment to art creators in combination with the current situation of the development of Chinese oil painting.With a strong cultural consciousness,Tuomusi shoulders the mission of inheriting the spirit of ethnic culture.The decorative features in his oil paintings are not directly inherited from Western oil painting techniques,but are mainly based on local culture and combined with the ethnic aesthetic consciousness.and value orientation gradually formed.The study of the decorative elements in Tuomusi’s oil paintings is not only an analysis of the decorative elements in Tuomusi’s works,but also the exploration of the decorative will behind his decorative features.This exploration connects his artistic style and artistic conception.It is of great significance for the viewer to have a better understanding of Tuomusi’s painting art.
