Performance appraisal plays an important role in the human resource management system.It is a method and process for the enterprises to use scientific index system and evaluation methods to judge the value of employees’ work ability,work achievements and professional quality under the guidance of established strategic objectives,and to reward,punish,motivate and positively guide interpreters according to the results of performance appraisal.Through the performance appraisal,enterprises can improve the work efficiency of interpreters and achieve the strategic objectives of enterprises,so as to realize the common progress of enterprises and employees and so as for translation company.In this thesis,I select the content from performance appraisal of ZYDF translation company as the research object,through the research of its performance appraisal,finds out the problems existing in the current performance appraisal of the company and makes a systematic analysis.The main problems of the company’s current performance appraisal are as follows: firstly,there are too many appraisal indexes and lack of key points;Secondly,the index weight setting lacks rationality;Third,the assessment is too formalistic and random;Fourth,lack of effective performance feedback and communication;Fifthly,the application of assessment results is not effective enough.Based on the current problems of the company(such as more attention paid to quantity and less attention paid to quality in the design of evaluation indicators),this paper combines the characteristics of the translation industry,establishes a set of key performance indicators suitable for zydf translators by using the method of key performance indicators(KPI),and determines the weight of evaluation indicators by using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),So as to enhance the balance and scientificity of key performance indicators and weight in all aspects.Then,it puts forward the organization and implementation plan and safeguard measures of performance appraisal.The appraisal subject should strictly abide by the organization and implementation principles of performance appraisal.The human resources department of the appraisal organization should pay close attention to various situations in the process of organization and implementation,and timely communicate with the interpreter.At the same time,the effective implementation of performance appraisal needs to be guaranteed from the aspects of system and organization.Finally,design a set of performance appraisal scheme in line with the development of zydf company.By improving the company’s performance appraisal,we can effectively improve the company’s performance,so as to achieve the company’s overall development strategy and long-term goals.The research of this thesis is a practical research achievement for ZYDF Translation Company’s interpreter performance appraisal optimization.Other than that,it also has a certain reference and guidance for similar enterprises.
