Design Of Breast Cancer Picture Book Based On Touch Experience

Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women,and men also suffer from breast cancer.At present,the picture books in the market are mainly designed for children,and the picture books for adults are not very high.There are scanty pictures books on breast cancer.This research focuses on breast cancer,which is designed for adults to design picture books and combined with tactile experience to provide users with multi-sensory enjoyment.Firstly,this study extracts three research subjects:users,carriers and content.The relationship between the three is:users understand the content conveyed by the carrier by using and watching the carrier.Then,the three research subjects are studied respectively:(1)through the way of questionnaire survey,we extensively studied the user’s functional needs and style preferences of breast cancer picture books,and determined the functional orientation and design style of picture books.(2)After understanding the user’s specific functional requirements,convert them into the "content" of the picture book,deeply understand and summarize them into the script of the picture book,and combine them with the user’s favorite design style to complete the design practice of the picture book;(3)Collect different materials,use the semantic difference method,through the tactile experience theory and the research on the perceptual experience of different materials,get the materials suitable for application in the picture book,and practice them in the picture book design based on tactile experience.The function of this picture book is "picture book of breast cancer," and combined with touch reduction of breast cancer symptoms to help users-self examine and improve users’ awareness of prevention and screening.The design style of the picture book is relaxed and warm,the picture is concise and the painting style is lively.The tactile design finally uses AB silica gel,rubber,silica gel a,sponge,ink and other materials to restore the five symptoms of lump,enlarged lymph nodes,orange peel of skin,dimple sign and nipple overflow,stimulate users’ desire to explore and deepen users’ impression of the contents of the picture book.This study focuses on breast cancer,mining the expectations and needs of adult women for breast cancer picture books,and expanding the content range of adult picture books.At the same time,it is combined with tactile experience to enrich the experience dimension of adult picture books.
