| This study provides a detailed analysis and interpretation of Kant’s system of aesthetic thought.I have taken Marx’s aesthetics and Kant’s aesthetics as the object of study because I want to compare and analyse Marx’s aesthetic thought with Kant’s,to verify the rationality of Marx’s aesthetic thought while exposing the shortcomings of Kant’s aesthetic thought, and to further reveal Marx’s aesthetic thought in relation to the reality of In this paper,we compare and analyse the two men’s ideas.Through a comparative analysis of their ideas, this article explores the origins of the sense of beauty, the nature of human ’connoisseurship’ and the direction of artistic development. It also considers what kind of art is truly pleasing to the modern public in relation to real life.In addition to the introduction, the paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter provides a systematic overview of Kant’s aesthetics in a logical sequence, starting from Kant’s work Critique of Judgment. It covers Kant’s analysis of the sources of the aesthetic faculty, the question of the categories of beauty and the sublime in Kant’s aesthetics, and the question of Kant’s views on natural beauty and art.Kant has a high opinion of natural beauty, but at the same time he believes that nature is a product of human subjective consciousness and that natural beauty arises as a result of the aesthetic judgement people make on natural objects over time. The second chapter analyses the limitations of Kant’s aesthetics based on the previous text, including the one-sidedness of Kant’s question on the "source of beauty",the historical lack of Kant’s concept of "aesthetic ability",and the problem of the"creator of art" in Kant’s aesthetic thought."Kant believes that the creator of art is genius and that genius determines art,i.e.regarding the amount of genius,Kant believes that genius is necessarily a minority,i.e.a small elite that controls the direction of art.Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 focus on the transcendence of Marxist aesthetics over Kant’s aesthetics.Chapter 3 contrasts Marx’s aesthetic views with those of Kant mentioned earlier, while Chapter 4 explores the positive impact of Marxist aesthetics on the creation of works of art and the minds of the people in today’s social environment, thus The fourth chapter explores the positive impact of Marxist aesthetics on the creation of works of art and the thinking of the people in today’s social environment, thus demonstrating the transcendence of Marxist aesthetics over Kantian aesthetics. |
