| The ravages of the global virus have caused serious damage to Teaching Chinese to speakers of Other Language.The situation of teachers "can’t go out" and students "can’t come in" has prompted the transformation of offline teaching to online teaching,and countless teaching platforms and online institutions have emerged as the times require.The author relies on an online Chinese education institution for overseas Chinese children,and uses the Ministry’s official edited of Chinese textbooks to conduct online Chinese teaching.Overseas Chinese children have always been the main body of overseas and online Chinese learners.Due to their complex language environment,long-term or even completely out of the Chinese character culture circle,the development of Chinese listening,speaking and reading skills is unbalanced,which makes overseas Chinese children teaching is not only different from non-Chinese students,but also has a big gap with domestic students of the same age.At the same time,affected by factors such as online teaching environment and textbooks,there must be certain problems in online Chinese character teaching.In order to find and solve the problem,the second part of this research first defines the basic concepts involved.Then,through the comparative analysis method,it summarizes the particularity of online Chinese character teaching and overseas Chinese children,and provides the theoretical basis and teaching principles for the following development.Furthermore,the third part briefly introduces the teaching platform and analyzes the teaching materials used.In the fourth part,the actual teaching practice is carried out for the two selected literacy courses "Sun and Moon Ming" and "Song of Surnames".And through the feedback of students and teachers,in the last fifth part,relevant suggestions are given from the teaching platform and teachers.According to literature research and practical analysis,when conducting online Chinese character teaching for overseas Chinese children,the teaching platform should more carefully select and set up teaching materials such as teaching materials and teaching contents.In order to reduce the impact of online teaching on Chinese writing teaching,the platform should enrich the functions of the class software,and provide better Chinese teaching resources for teacher training and management.Teachers still need to improve in the following aspects: First,they need to flexibly handle teaching content and teaching order such as word volume,culture,etc.according to students’ conditions.Secondly,use Chinese characters theory to carry out teaching to improve students’ literacy ability.Reasonable use of teaching resources and careful selection of online resources will enrich the teaching and practice of Chinese characters and enhance the interest of teaching.Finally,strengthen the role of textbooks in the teaching of Chinese character writing,consolidate the foundation of writing in the early stage,form norms in the middle and later stages,and gradually introduce the teaching of Chinese writing culture.This paper hopes that from the aspects of teaching platform,textbook,teacher teaching,etc.,it will lead to thinking about the problems faced by overseas Chinese children in online Chinese character teaching,and then promote the development of online Chinese character teaching. |
