Research On The Public Security Work Of The Communist Party Of China In Yan’an Period

Public security work is an important component of the work of the people’s democratic dictatorship in China.It is a specialized work that safeguards national security and social order in accordance with the policies,laws,and public security regulations of the Party and the state.It plays an irreplaceable role and value in China’s basic social governance and national security.However,the public security work is also affected by the unprecedented changes in the world in a century and the COVID-19 in recent years.It is urgent to explore a new"road of improvement".This paper tries to summarize the basic experience of the public security work in Yan’an period and explore the policy that is conducive to the "centennial reform" of contemporary public security work by studying the historical background,development process and main work contents of the public security work of the CPC in Yan’an period.This article is divided into five parts:The first part is an introduction.The introduction briefly describes the research background,purpose and significance of this article,the research status at home and abroad,main research ideas and methods,as well as the innovation and research shortcomings of this article.Through the study of this part,the value and significance of the research on the CPC’s public security work in Yan’an period can be clearly presented.The second part is the historical background of the CPC’s public security work in the Yan’an period.The public security work in Yan’an period was the origin and cradle of our country’s public security work,but the development of the public security work in Yan’an period was faced with the dilemma of "internal and external troubles"."Foreign aggression" is mainly manifested in the destruction of traitors,spies,and reactionary organizations,the aggression of various reactionary forces against our Party personnel,the inherent vice of Yan’an region,and the yellow gambling and drug addiction left over from the old society,bandits,and local gangs;"Internal worries" mainly manifested in the shortage of public security personnel,insufficient working funds,and the existence of work style among some party members and cadres during the Yan’an period.Through this part,the historical background of the CPC’s public security work in the Yan’an period is described in detail,which lays the necessary foundation for the later research on the development process and main work contents of the CPC’s public security work in the Yan’an period,making this study more systematic and comprehensive.The third part is the development process of the CPC’s public security work in the Yan’an period.According to the main domestic contradictions and the course of the war in the Yan’an period,this paper divides the public security work of the CPC in the Yan’an period into three different periods for research,including the period of partial anti Japanese war,the period of comprehensive anti Japanese war in Yan’an,and the period of liberation war.On this basis,combined with the situation faced in each period and the three dimensions of our party’s policies and guidelines,the construction and development of the organizational structure,and its internal settings,the CPC has made timely adjustments and deployment to the public security work in different periods.The fourth part is the main content of the CPC’s public security work in Yan’an period.The content of public security work in Yan’an period mainly includes four aspects:eliminating traitors and eliminating special forces,security work,combating crime,public security management,and intelligence work.On the basis of the previous research on the historical background and development process of the CPC’s public security work in the Yan’an period,this part more comprehensively and systematically expounds the distinctive characteristics of the main contents of the public security work in the Yan’an period,as well as the differences of various special work contents in the three different periods of the partial war of resistance,the comprehensive war of resistance in Yan’an,and the war of liberation.The fifth part is the basic experience and contemporary enlightenment of the CPC’s public security work in the Yan’an period.During the Yan’an period,the CPC’s public security work inherited the fine tradition of public security work in the Central Soviet Area,strictly implemented the party’s line,guidelines and policies for public security work,and accumulated rich experience in eliminating traitors,guarding,combating crimes,public security management and intelligence work.Based on the previous research on the historical background,development process and main work contents of the CPC’s public security work in Yan’an period,this part summarizes and summarizes the basic experience of the public security work in the Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia Border Region in Yan’an period,with a view to providing important reference and enlightenment for the public security work in the new era and the construction of the public security team.
