Miao Jiang of western Hunan has been "unruled" since the past dynasties.Since the early Qing Dynasty,Miao Jiang has been gradually incorporated into the direct rule of the central Dynasty.The process of local nationalization of Miao Jiang is deepening step by step,and the local social psychology and identity have also undergone significant changes.There is an outstanding changing in the process of sacrifice inside Miao Jiang.This paper takes the worship in Miao Jiang of western Hunan in the Qing Dynasty as the research object,discusses the evolution of worship in Miao Jiang in the Qing Dynasty and the important role of constructing local social national identity and expressing state presence.The first chapter of this paper mainly discusses the process of the establishment of Miao Jiang and the entry and improvement of the national ritual ceremony,the entry of Han,caused the change of Miao Jiang sacrifice,the Qing’s center government gradually realized the role of sacrifice to local governance and the construction of national identity.The second chapter mainly analyzes the role of sacrifice in Miao Jiang in "Miao revelation".Objectively,local sacrifice in Miao Jiang has become an obstacle to the nationalization of "border areas".After the incident subsided,the Qing’s government reconstructed the sacrifice in Miao Jiang to strengthen the construction of national identity in Miao Jiang.The third chapter sorts out the main sacrificial activities of Miao Jiang in western Hunan in Qing Dynasty from the aspects of government sacrificial offering and native sacrificial offering.After nationalization,there were more symbols of the state in the sacrificial activities of Miao Jiang.Native sacrificial activities actively absorbed the mainstream culture of the country,and "border areas" became more integrated into the whole country.In general,after being nationalized,worship in Miao Jiang of western Hunan in the Qing Dynasty became an effective tool to build local national identity,which could guide people of all ethnic groups in Miao Jiang to establish recognition,obedience and support for the national political and cultural system,and achieved the effect that Confucianism education and administrative measures could not achieve.
