Idioms are an important part of Chinese vocabulary,and numeral idioms,as one of the important components of Chinese idioms,contain rich connotations of Chinese traditional culture because of their different sources and unique short,concise structure.Chinese people pay attention to the number culture.According to the statistics of the Great Dictionary of Chinese Idioms,the numeral idioms account for about 10% of the total idioms,and the data statistics of DCC corpus are not only commonly used in daily Chinese life and works.The study of numeral idioms can not only improve the reading comprehension and language expression ability of Chinese learners,but also deepen their understanding of Chinese culture and stimulate the strong learning interest of Chinese as a second language learners.However,due to the complexity of its own meaning,it will also produce certain difficulties in the learning process of Chinese as a second language learners,so that they will produce various errors in the process of using it.This paper mainly takes Chinese as a second language learners as the research object and HSK corpus as the corpus source to explore the types of errors and the causes of errors in the use of numeral idioms.This paper adopts the literature method,establishes the topic selection on the basis of the previous literature research,defines the basis and significance of the topic selection,and summarizes the classification of Chinese idioms,the research status of numeral idioms and the teaching status of numeral idioms as a foreign language literature research,so as to determine the main research content of this paper.Based on this,this study firstly elaborates the definition,cultural connotation,structural characteristics and source classification of numeral idioms,and clarifies the importance of numeral idioms in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,so as to promote a more comprehensive understanding of numeral idioms for second language learners.And because the idiom learning is mainly carried out in the middle and advanced stage,the paper research corpus is mainly based on the corpus used by the two language learners in the middle and advanced stage.On this basis,this paper uses statistical analysis method to make statistics and comparative analysis of the collection of numeral idioms in the Outline of Chinese vocabulary as a foreign language and the two sets of textbooks Developing Chinese and Road to Success,and determines 100 numeral idioms as the research scope of this paper.Then,with the support of the corpus in the HSK dynamic composition corpus,a total of 550 pieces of corpus are collected by searching the usage of numeral idioms by second language learners one by one.According to the theory of bias analysis,a specific study of the corpus found that only 58 of the 100 numerical idioms were used,and the number of errors was 289.The corpus was analyzed and studied to grasp the situation of acquisition.According to the error corpus,the errors are classified into four main types: font error,structural error,semantic error and pragmatic error.Combined with the types of errors,the causes of errors mainly lie in the individual differences of learners,numeral idioms and teaching,etc.The author finds that the learners themselves,due to their subjective factors and objective factors,have different degrees of influence on their learning and use of numeral idioms.As far as the numeral idioms themselves are concerned,their cultural connotation and structural characteristics,as well as the difficulty of homophonic characters and font writing,are the root causes of their errors for learners.In terms of teaching,it mainly combines the teaching materials and teaching methods,and finds that the outline of Chinese vocabulary as a foreign language and the collection of numeral idioms in the teaching materials are less,and the annotation and practice are relatively simple,and insufficient attention is paid to them.In view of these reasons,the author puts forward concrete suggestions for students’ learning,teachers’ teaching and textbook compilation.The research on the acquisition of numeral idioms by Chinese learners is helpful to break the inherent limitations of their thinking in learning Chinese,understand the deeper meaning of Chinese culture,and help us find more suitable teaching methods and countermeasures for second language learners to learn idioms,so as to teach numeral idioms and other idioms more effectively.It is conducive to promoting the peaceful coexistence of Sino-foreign relations and the interaction between different cultures.At the end of the paper,the thesis summarizes the main research content,and on the basis of the study on the acquisition of numeral idioms by Chinese second language learners,studies the shortcomings of second language learners in learning and correctly using numeral idioms from the aspects of learners themselves,teaching and teaching materials,and puts forward relevant solutions,in order to provide reference for the learning of other types of idioms,and points out the shortcomings of the study.And the direction of future research.
