The numeral is one of the most fundamental part in modern Chinese, playing an important role in daily communication.Teaching effectiveness of numeral relate to foreign students’ understanding and use in Chinese study directly.For a long time, numeral teaching did not get enough attention and research on numeral acquisition errors can hardly be found in Teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Based on this,here is a review on the research of Chinese numeral,which gets resources from HSK dynamic composition corpus.According to the gathered corpus,numeral acquisition errors consist of ghost word errors,wrong- written errors,omit errors and other errors.There is a deep analyze on the reason of the produce of ghost words,such as similar-form characters errors and similar-pronunciation characters errors.Students should make more exercises in numeral writing in their initial study so that they can master the basic strokes and basic structures of Chinese characters.Besides,some suggestions are proposed for the writing and use of numerals.
