Language is not only a tool of communication but also the carrier of culture.Both Chinese and Russian contain a large number of idioms.These idioms are not only used frequently in daily communication,but also reflect largely the way of thinking,life style and cultural identity of a nation.The paper analyzes numeral idioms of Chinese and Russian,and explores the difference in digital selection and collocation of numeral idioms between Chinese and Russian.This paper also explores the cultural reasons behind,and analyzes common errors and causes on the acquisition of Chinese numeral idioms for Russian students.Finally this paper puts forward some specific and targeted teaching strategies.The paper is divided into six parts.The introduction part is to present the current research status of Chinese and Russian numeral idioms and illuminate the importance and necessity of comparative study of numeral idioms between Chinese and Russian by teasing out the study background,purpose,significance,methods and literature review of the paper.The first chapter summarizes the definition of numeral idioms,structure features,grammatical features and rhetorical features systemically.The first part will lay the foundation for the following contrast between Russian and Chinese numeral idioms.The second chapter mainly makes comparative analysis of digital selection and collocation differences and explores the cultural reasons.The third chapter is to collect common errors of Russian students' acquisition about Chinese numeral idioms and analyzes the causes.The fourth chapter puts forward specific and targeted suggestions and strategies by contrasting numeral idioms of Chinese and Russian,combining statistical result of questionnaires and learning features of Russian students.Th conclusion summarizes the core view and deficiency of the paper.The innovation of this paper is to study the teaching of numeral idioms from the perspective of the comparison between Chinese and Russian,and put forward the countermeasures.
