Media plays an important role in social organization, being able to preserve information and connect with past events.Through media, humans can re-experience and reconstruct past events and information, and in doing so,influence individual, collective and social memory.Based on the theory of media memory, this paper studies the media memory practice of domestic award-winning anti-epidemic documentaries, and uses text analysis to investigate how documentary video media participate in the public’s memory production through content production,so as to complete the film and television writing and construction of anti-epidemic memory. In terms of specific path, based on the theory of media memory this paper uses domestic anti-epidemic documentaries that can reflect the anti-epidemic time clues, present the multi-dimensional aspects of anti-epidemic and cover multiple subjects of anti-epidemic,as a case study of media memory, analyze the reorganization and expression of anti-epidemic vector symbols,anti-epidemic media discourse and anti-epidemic media memory practices in anti-epidemic documentaries, and provide reference for better assuming the responsibility of "carrier group" and rebuilding social consensus after documentaries. The study finds that the presentation of anti-epidemic memories in anti-epidemic documentaries is a complex process, which is closely related to symbols, discourses and practices.First of all,the documentary uses audiovisual symbols to transmit, awaken and supplement the audience’s anti-epidemic memory. The space-time symbol portrays the real scene of the anti-epidemic,taking China’s anti-epidemic practice under the epidemic as the spatial carrier, and constructing an immersive "epidemic time and space" with the common time symbol of the new crown pneumonia epidemic.Secondly, from the perspective of discourse analysis, the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic is an evolving social practice activity.Through the metaphor of discourse, the anti-epidemic documentary has shaped the fluid discourse of "from the common destiny of the Chinese nation to a community with a shared future for mankind" on the one hand, and then called on people around the world to fight the epidemic together. On the other hand, using "war" as a metaphor for "epidemic" can better stimulate the anti-epidemic upsurge of the whole people, and can also guide the practice of epidemic prevention and control in a vertical dimension. Finally, with the help of the "dynamic analysis model of mediated memory" proposed by Jose van Dijk,it is understood that individual memories in anti-epidemic memories are converted into collective memories through sharing and exchange, and embedded in social culture with the help of the mediation of technical objects,so as to jointly complete the norms of memory practice. At the same time,anti-epidemic documentaries only exist as an explicit intermediary of anti-epidemic history, and are still affected by many potential factors when writing memory. In the anti-epidemic documentary,it is of great significance to recall and defend individual memory, that is,it reflects the respect and confirmation of individual subjectivity, and continues the creative pursuit of "people’s aesthetics".At the same time, the anti-epidemic memories of overcoming difficulties and living actively together constructed in anti-epidemic documentaries can play a role in healing "wounds" to a certain extent. In addition, when examining the construction of documentary films’ social memory in the fight against the new crown pneumonia epidemic,it is necessary to consider the two dimensions of synchronic and diachronic times.
