A Study On The Oral History Of The Development Of Jump Skipping In Shanghai Since The Reform And Opening-up

In 1978,China officially opened the prelude to reform and opening up.The folk sports represented by rope skipping began to explore the transformation and development in the torrent of changes of the times.Throughout the historical development track,since the reform and opening up,Shanghai rope skipping has stood out in the evolution from folk games to modern rope skipping.This study focuses on the development process of Shanghai rope skipping project since the reform and opening up,objectively combines history and reality,and integrates the basic principles of Marxism and social change theory for research and analysis.On the one hand,by personally experiencing a number of rope skipping events in Shanghai in 2021,and using the research method of oral history,the author conducted oral interviews with many main witnesses in the development process of Shanghai rope skipping projects since the reform and opening up,collected and analyzed the research data.This study lasted more than a year,divided the development process of Shanghai rope skipping project since the reform and opening up into primary stage,development stage,promotion stage and rising stage,explained the main events,development characteristics and main development power of each stage,then summarized and analyzed the main factors affecting the development of Shanghai rope skipping project since the reform and opening up by using the theory of social change,and finally gave the development prospect.The results are as follows:(1)Primary stage(1978-1999):The transformation from rope skipping game to competitive sport.The development of rope skipping in the primary stage mainly focuses on the jumping,kicking and shooting competition.The emergence of the competition order book is an important basis for the transformation of rope skipping game to competition.The driving force of development is mainly the support of the government and the development of the media.(2)Development stage(2000-2009):The evolution is based on the breakthrough of rope skipping technology.the transformation of development mode and the promulgation of competition rules.The development power is mainly the contradiction between the traditional rope skipping and the level of social development,and the contradiction of the rope skipping project itself,which promotes the evolution process.(3)Promotion stage(2010-2007): Comprehensive exploration and improvement of modern rope skipping.Modern rope skipping is actively promoted and explored in all aspects against the background of Shanghai style culture,and its competitive level has been greatly improved in the process of exploration.The main driving force for development is the influence of Shanghai style culture and the value of rope skipping.Rope skipping projects have been widely promoted.(4)Rising stage(2018-): The parallel development of marketization and school physical education.The development of rope skipping project takes marketization and industrialization as the development direction,and is closely related to school physical education in Shanghai.In the context of the epidemic,the recession of the market economy,the help of new media and the practical needs of schools are the main driving forces for development at this stage.Since the reform and opening up,China’s social development level has been deepening,showing diversified reasons for social changes.This study holds that from the perspective of social change: environmental change affects the development conditions of rope skipping;Economic changes have affected the development direction of rope skipping;The change of science and technology affects the speed of development;The change of social consciousness has affected the development and dissemination of rope skipping;The changes of cultural life have affected the cultural environment for the development of rope skipping.From the research on the development of rope skipping in Shanghai since the reform and opening up,this study summarizes the reference for the development of other folk sports:1.Strong support from local government2.Clarify the development orientation of the project3.Tap the maximum potential of the development project4.Establish project associations as soon as possible5.Always based on oneself and actively innovateThis study takes the reform of the development process of Shanghai rope skipping as the starting point,combs the development process of Shanghai rope skipping since the reform and opening up,analyzes and explores the influencing factors of its development,and provides development reference for the development of other folk sports in China through historical insight.
