The Study Of Shu Brocade In The Han And Jin Dynasties Was Centered On The Western Regions

Shu brocade refers to the brocade produced by Shu prefecture.It first appeared in the pre-Qin period,and it was developed and spread continuously during the Han and Jin dynasties.Since ancient times,the brocade has been loved by the Chinese and foreign people for its exquisite craftsmanship,exquisite patterns,gorgeous colors and tough texture.It is not only sold well in all over the Central Plains,but also exported to the western regions and other overseas regions.At the same time,Shu brocade has been concerned by the attention of ancient and modern academic circles,and many scholars have studied it.The Han and Jin dynasties was an important period for the development of the silk Road.The unimpeded flow of the Silk Road promoted the development of the Silk Road trade.Since ancient times,Bashu region has been known as "the country of silkworm bushes" and occupies a place in the silk trade.Cultural relics and documents show that in the Han and Jin dynasties,the Bashu region was very close to the Western Regions,and the personnel exchanges were also very frequent.Convenient transportation and frequent trade provided important conditions for the western transmission of Bashu and Shu brocade.Moreover,with the development of modern archaeology,many brocade from the Han and Jin dynasties have been unearthed in the Xinjiang region,most of which were identified as Shu brocade produced by the Bashu region.The excavation and excavation of a series of Shu brocade fabrics in the western regions not only proved the western biography of Shu brocade in the Han and Jin dynasties,but also provided an important reference and support for the study of Shu brocade.Bashu and Shu brocade spread to the Western Regions along with the Silk Road,on the one hand,reflecting the important position of Shu brocade in the Bashu silk weaving industry.In the cultural integration,the culture of the Western Regions influenced it,and its characteristics of the Western Regions gradually appeared in terms of pattern or weaving technology.On the other hand,it also reflects that Shu Jin has exerted a great influence on the social politics,economy,culture and other aspects of the Western regions.This paper on the basis of the series of research on brocade,in the Han Jin period as the main object,to this period of bashu shu brocade development history,and the Xinjiang han jin unearthed shu jin according to the region,category,pattern,arrangement,and do a more detailed study,on the ancient western region between shu jin and shu brocade origin depends on the relationship and influence of a general discussion.
