A Study Of The Formation And Development Of Korean Silk Road Studies

The purpose of this study is to provide a cognitive analysis of Korean Silk Road studies.First,a review of the development of Korean silk road studies shows that Korean silk road studies have gone through the "emergence stage"(1954-2001),the "formation stage"(2001-2013)and the "development stage"(2013-present)in time,showing the parallelism between the ancient Silk Road and the present-day "The Belt and Road".Secondly,an analysis of three representative cases of the construction of Korean Silk Road Studies shows that,In the historical evolution of Korean Silk Road Studies,a system of Korean Silk Road Studies has gradually emerged,with the research of Zheng Shouyi and his related research results as the core,as well as the research results of Korea’s Sea Silk Route and Korea’s One Belt,One Road as the representative.These three representative cases cover the three major topics of the Silk Roads Discipline Construction,the Silk Road,and "The Belt and Road".Thirdly,the opportunities,challenges and responses to the building of Silk Road academic community between China and Korea are discussed,forming the basic research logic of this study.The academic value of this study is to enrich the understanding of the current situation of Korean Silk Road studies and to deepen the analysis of the cognitive analysis of "The Belt and Road" in Korea.The practical significance of this study is to break down the cognitive barriers of "The Belt and Road" and to promote the construction of Silk Road academic community between China and Korea.This study mainly employs documentary analysis,historical tracing and interdisciplinary research methods.The study concludes that the construction of Silk Road academic community between China and Korea is still at a stage where there are both opportunities and challenges.In order to accelerate the process of building Silk Road academic community between China and Korea,it is necessary to break down the barriers of "The Belt and Road" perception in Korea and promote the building of Silk Road academic community between China and Korea.In view of this,academics from both countries should actively engage in academic exchanges on the Belt and Road,and pay particular attention to the establishment of a dialogue platform for Silk Road studies between China and Korea,so as to promote the formation of Silk Road academic community between China and Korea.
