The Study Of The Pure Land Thought Of Zhi Yi

Pure Land Thought is one of the Buddhist theories that has been widely accepted by Believers in Middle-earth Buddhism since the introduction of Buddhism to Middle-earth.By synthesizing the ideological resources of "Southern Righteousness and Northern Zen",T ien tai Zhi Yi created the Tien tai Theory with the theoretical characteristics of "equal emphasis on teaching and concept".As a Buddhist scholar who is mainly integrate d,Zhi Yi systematically expounded the Pure Land Thought from the theories of Tendai Studies,such as the Four Teachings Theory,the Meditation Thought,the Three Views Thought,the Six Sayings,the Three Virtues Thought,the One Thought and three Thousand Theories,and the Four Buddha-soil theories,and proposed four theories of Buddha Land.This article attempts to recapitulate the theoretical connotation of Zhi Yi pure land thought from the Zhi Yi ideological system,and to study the everlasting light l and exalted by Zhi Yi from the theory of Tendai reality and the dharma thought,and strive to outline the original appearance of the Zhi Yi pure land.In addition,Zhi Yi’s four Theories of Buddha-Land not only promoted the integration of “Tian Tai-Pure land”,but also indirectly influenced the construction of the Pure Land Sect theory.At the same time,for the study of the Sinification of Buddhism,the four Buddhist soil theories of Zhi Yi also show the dynamics and pluralism of the formation and development of Chinese Buddhist theories.Therefore,this paper intends to systematically study and restate its four Buddhist soil theories based on the Zhi Yi thought system.
