A Study On Aspect Markers Of The Wanzhi Dialect Of Wuy

Wanzhi dialect area is located in the middle of transition zone of Wu language area of Xuanzhou and Jianghuai mandarin area.The language is actually more complex and very obvious in the system of aspectuality,and the system of aspectuality has always been a hot topic of Chinese grammar research.The study focuses on the grammar of Wanzhi dialect by making a research about the system of aspectuality.In this paper we have researched the system of aspectuality of Wanzhi dialect based on extensive surveys and senior researches.The first chapter mainly introduces the phonological overview in Wanzhi dialect,and introduces the present situation of China’s dialects researches and the present situation of Wanzhi dialects researches,we also introduces the corpus sources,the theoretical framework and the research methods of this study.The second chapter describes the perfective aspect in Wanzhi dialect.And in this chapter we are mianly attempt to describe the perfective aspect about the syntactic features and the grammatical meaning in Wanzhi dialect.The perfective aspect in Wanzhi dialect includes the five kinds of aspect:finished aspect,perfect aspect,experience aspect,the short-term aspect,tentative aspect.And the marks of aspect includ "唻[lε]";"咯₁[ka]""了[l（?）]";"过""VV 待-";"V啊子";"看/看看""VV+C".Through corpus analysis,we can see that the perfective aspect "咯1" and " 了" are different in the syntactic features、the grammatical meaning and the degree of grammaticalization.We see " 了" as an aspect marker with traces of the resultant complement,which is a quasi-aspect marker,its degree of grammaticalization is lower than that of the completed body marker "咯1".The overlapping structure "VV 待-"and "VV+C" can be regarded as an aspect marker,and the former is considered to be an individual aspect marker and the latter is an overlapping structure that indicates the meaning of the attempt.The third chapter describes the imperfective aspect in Wanzhi dialect.And in this chapter we are mianly try to introduce the imperfective aspect about the syntactic features and explaints its grammatical meaning in Wanzhi dialect.The imperfective aspect in Wanzhi dialect includes the three kinds of aspect:progressive aspect, continuous aspect,initial aspect.And the marks of aspect include:“在[xhε⁵³]”、“在个里/在 kiε”;“咯₂”;“起来[t（?）’i²¹ lε]”、“起[t（?）’i]”.From the perspective of language contact,the reasons why the aspect mark "咯" of the same form indicates different aspect meanings.It is determined whether "在个里/在 kiε" can be used as an aspect marker,the former is a lexical structure that indicates the meaning of the progressive aspect and the latter is more blurred and can be regarded as a progressive aspect.The fourth chapter we attempt to summarize the characteristics of the system of aspectuality of Wanzhi dialect and point out the imperfections of this paper.
