| With the development of cities in China,the decay of old cities is serious.Wall painting plays an important role in the transformation of old cities.Huangjueping art street is a case of applying wall painting to transform and enhance the public space of old cities,but is also a cultural and creative industry project between the government and the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts.Huangjueping art street is the graffiti street in Chongqing and the main object of this study is the wall painting on the public buildings along the street.Wall painting on architectures at Huangjueping street has gone through two systematically transformation since established.The first was started in 2006,and the second was just started in 2021,which has been basically finished at the end of that year.This study takes the wall painting prior to the second round of renovation as the main object of study,with appropriate elaboration on the new round of painting renovation in the concluding section of the article.Huangjueping art street in Chongqing is taken as content for research.It is divided into following five parts for the study through field work and read of literature.The first part is introduction.The research background is deeply analyzed,research content and methods are elaborated and innovation points and research status are declared.The second part is elaborating relevant concepts about research.Origins and development of Huangjueping art street in Chongqing and wall painting are sketched.Elements’ characteristics applied in wall painting on Huangjueping art street in Chongqing are studied in the third part.In the fourth part,skills and principles applied in wall painting on Huangjueping art street in Chongqing are studied.The value and application prospect of wall painting in the process of transformation of old cities are elaborated in the fifth part.Wall painting ahs became an important way for the transformation of the public space of old cities.Figure 92;Table 2;Reference 54... |
