Path Exploration Of Self-publishing Mode Of Online Literature Based On Block Chain

According to BOWKER’s annual report,the number of self-published books in the U.S.surpassed 1 million for the first time in 2017,and the number of self-published books has shown steady growth since then.According to statistics from The White Paper on Copyright Protection of Chinese Online Literature 2021,by 2020,China’s digital entertainment core industry had reached 683.52 billion yuan,and the industrial scale of Chinese online literature was nearly 30 billion yuan.Among them,the output value of animation,game,film and TV series derived from IP operation of online literature reaches more than 250 billion yuan,and the influence scope of online literature on the entertainment industry is close to 40%.After more than 20 years of development,network literature is ushering in a vigorous and prosperous period of the industry.Digital publishing industry shows unprecedented market potential and broad development space.However,it is followed by high infringement and piracy losses in the field of online literature,and the increasingly centralized giant groups,and the platform readers become "digital workers".Under the traditional centralized self-publishing model of web articles,the author’s right of discourse is declining,the "gatekeeper" link of publishing is missing,and the serious imbalance of interest distribution is becoming more and more prominent.How to construct a truly "decentralized" self-publishing model of web articles that takes creators as the core and meets the needs of platform users for self-sharing and self-expression has become the current need.With the emergence of block chain technology and its full recognition and multi-dimensional research in the field of digital copyright,self-publishing of online literature has brought new development opportunities.Blockchain is a decentralized technology solution that records data in blocks of data,which are connected into a chain,and each node supervises each other.With blockchain,the publishing process can be removed from the traditional third party while information is interconnected and cannot be tampered with.This paper aims to elaborate the current status of self-publishing of online literature,and discuss the coupling between blockchain technology and self-publishing mode of online literature by sorting out the existing problems of online literature publishing and analyzing the blockchain technology.Combined with the application of the current blockchain technology in the field of digital publishing,it explores the optimization of the full copyright chain of online literature based on the blockchain,and creates a real writer-centered self-publishing model of online literature,providing references for the industry.This article is divided into six parts,the first part is the introduction,this section mainly elaborates writing background,significance,and research methods and research innovations,and to define the important concepts related to essay writing,combing the related concept and the present situation of network literature,combing ever since publishing model,chain and summarizing blocks from publishing,digital publishing related research,Sorting out and analyzing the important values and shortcomings of previous studies;The first chapter mainly expounds the concepts and theories related to online literature,self-publishing and blockchain,laying a theoretical foundation for the study of this paper.The second chapter traces the development of online literature,focuses on the analysis of the current shortcomings of self-publishing online literature,and summarizes its current main difficulties.First,it faces serious infringement and piracy,and the existing platform technology can not provide proper protection;Second,the content quality problems caused by the lack of professional audit team;Third,centralized platform monopoly,the distribution of copyright-related interests is seriously unbalanced;Fourth,the vicious competition between platforms,platform transactions are not transparent.The third chapter elaborates on block chain technology,its advantages and current application,and proposes the feasibility of applying block chain to self-publishing of online literature,laying a realistic foundation for the construction of self-publishing model based on technology.Chapter four introduces the inevitability of the writer-centered self-publishing model,describes the specific path of the author-centered self-publishing model of online literature based on blockchain,explains the operation process of the self-publishing model of blockchain in detail,and shows the characteristics and advantages of the decentralized self-publishing model.The fifth chapter goes further and puts forward specific optimization paths from the mechanism of right confirmation,benefit distribution and content review in view of the existing difficulties in self-publishing of online literature summarized above.Let block chain technology run through the full copyright chain of online literature,from the confirmation of rights,authorization to rights protection to provide a more effective protection path.The last part is the summary part of the whole paper,which mainly summarizes the research conclusions of this paper,points out the shortcomings of this research,and puts forward prospects for the future research direction and focus.
