Franz Liszt is a famous composer and pianist in the Romantic period of the 19 th century.Liszt has given many other great works of art a new interpretation and a more perspective interpretation through his extraordinary musical ability in the form of music,giving them new vitality.The artistic works such as painting,poetry and literature are closely combined with musical language to express the artistic conception and ideas of other sister arts,thus forming a new form of artistic music-Symphonic poetry.The musical genre of "Symphony Poetry" initiated by him plays an important role in the history of music development.He has created 13 Symphonic poems.From the perspective of music narrative,this paper combines various elements of musical expression to study six works of literary classics in this category,in order to better understand the purpose of musical works,understand the genre significance of symphonic poems,and then achieve a better understanding of the spiritual theme of literary works.Musical narrative is a music narrative theory developed under the influence of literary narrative.It broadens the way of analysis of traditional composing technology theory,and opens up a new path for better understanding works,especially the title music.This paper combines the background of symphonic poetry creation,the story content and spiritual connotation of literary works,through a detailed analysis of the thematic development,structure,harmony,tonal layout and orchestration in the means of musical expression,and with the connection with musical narrative,explores how the abstract sound symbols constituting music relate to the story plot of literary works with concrete characteristics and how the symbols are composed of music.Its connotation is related,so as to achieve the purpose of real interpretation of Liszt’s Symphonic poems,and to understand the internal logic of the interrelationship between sound symbols and music narrative.This paper is divided into six chapters,the first chapter,the introduction,the content has research reasons and significance,the research status at home and abroad and the research ideas and methods of this thesis;the second chapter,Liszt and symphonic poetry,including Liszt,Liszt symphony The creative background of poetry and the narrative of the title text of symphonic poems;the third chapter,the theme development and music narrative,the content is divided into the theme material and the derivative of the theme material;the fourth chapter,the music structure and music narrative,with the principle of sound,The principle of contrast and the principle of juxtaposition are the content;the fifth chapter,other musical expressions and musical narratives,combing from harmony,tonality and orchestration;the sixth chapter,the narrative features of Liszt’s literary works,summarizing Lisi The narrative meaning of the symphonic poetry genre,the role of the theme in character shaping,the close combination of structure and text,and the meaning of other means of expression.
