A Study On The Question Of Du Fu’s Departure From Shu

At present,regarding Du Fu’s departure from Shu,there are still some inconclusive questions in the academic circles.The most important of these are as follows.Firstly,the specific time when Du Fu left Shu.Whether the time of Yan Wu’s death had an impact on the time when Du Fu left Shu.Secondly,Du Fu’s true intention to leave Shu.Shortly before that,he was given an official position,whether he left Shu for the sake of duty.Thirdly,the influencing factors of Du Fu’s route selection and action trajectory.This paper examines the above three main issues by combing through relevant research and analyzing Du Fu’s poetry.The whole text consists of three parts: introduction,main text,and conclusion.The introduction section introduces the research purpose and significance of this paper,summarizes the relevant research situation,introduces the research content and framework of this paper,and briefly describes the research methods of this paper.The main text is divided into three parts:Firstly,discuss the time when Du Fu left Shu.Starting from the time of creation of the relevant poems,rediscuss Du Fu’s poems before he arrived in Rongzhou.By clarifying the time of the poetry’s creation,it is judged that Du Fu left Shu earlier than May.Analyzing the details of Du Fu’s poems,it is judged that Du Fu may have a gap with Yan Wu.However,according to Du Fu’s poetry,it can be seen that Du Fu still recognized and valued Yan Wu,and considering Du Fu’s consistent personality,it can be concluded that Du Fu should leave Shu before Yan Wu died.Secondly,discuss Du Fu’s intention to leave Shu.Combined with the official system of the Tang Dynasty,it’s added that Du Fu’s official position is real.But this doesn’t mean that Du Fu must have gone to the post.Comprehensive analysis of Du Fu’s poetry shows that Du Fu didn’t want to become an official,combined with Du Fu’s distrust of the imperial court,and the strong homesickness complex in his poetry,it can be judged that the poet’s intention should be heading east back home.Thirdly,discuss the reasons why Du Fu chose the eastward route,as well as the characteristics and influencing factors of Du Fu’s actions.Du Fu’s choice to go east should be a comprehensive consideration of safety,comfort and economic factors.Moreover,Du Fu’s unsettling and turning to the south after he went east should have been affected by war turmoil,dilapidated homes,economic distress,and accidents.Conclusion summarizes the three main issues discussed in the text,and make it clear that Du Fu left Shu before Yan Wu’s death,with the intention of returning home.The choice of the eastbound route is the result of a comprehensive consideration of various factors.
