In the new century,Chinese suspense and mystery online novels in the development process by the Western classic detective novels,European and American black suspense novels and Japanese mystery novels,in the text level can find many traces of connection with the previous text,through the interviews and self-statements of online writers,we find that almost every suspense mystery novelist has their own admired writers and works,which is the empirical source of intertextual existence.From the perspective of the reality of online writers’ creation,suspense and reasoning online novels are mostly based on existing materials and writers’ own creative experience,the Internet has enabled global culture to have a platform for exchange and integration,and at the same time changed the creation and dissemination mode of Chinese online literature,making the phenomenon of text interdivision of online novels more and more obvious.Based on this,the author looks at Chinese online suspense mystery novels from the perspective of intertextuality,and analyzes the intertextual characteristics of Chinese online suspense mystery novels in terms of story motifs,narrative modes,character creation,and intertextual techniques through comparative research and text perusal.The thesis consists of three parts: Introduction,Main Text,and Conclusion.The main body is divided into four chapters,which are as follows:On the basis of sorting out the theory of intertextuality,the first chapter analyzes the reasons for the intertextuality of Chinese online suspense mystery novels in three aspects,namely the acceptance of foreign literature,the inheritance of domestic cultural resources,and the integration of various types of literary creation elements.The second chapter points outThe theory of intertextuality is an important critical theory in the West,which has received the attention of many scholars since its introduction,and under the elaboration of many literary and art theorists,the connotation and extension of the theory have been continuously enriched and extended,forming a relatively perfect system.Intertextuality refers to the intertextual relationship between texts,which inspires people to pay attention to the connection between texts and explore the richness,uncertainty and coexistence and transformation of the world of meaning behind the phenomenon of textual intertext.that Chinese online suspense mystery novels prefer the three types of story motifs of death,disaster,and revenge,and at the same time analyze the intertextual relationship between the novel and other texts in terms of motif writing,and explain the rationality of these three types of motifs from the perspective of accepting aesthetics and psychology.The third chapter first analyzes the two typical narrative structures of Chinese online suspense mystery novels,namely a single-line narrative structure and a multi-line narrative structure,the single-line narrative structure follows the logical clues of "asking questions-displaying dataunderstanding the truth-verifying the ending" of Western detective novels,and the multi-line narrative structure forms a cross-cultural dialogue relationship with texts such as "Moon Gem" and "In the Bamboo Forest";secondly,in terms of character intertextuality,Chinese online suspense novels form fixed character groups and works series.In terms of female character shaping,it borrows the "evil girl" character in Japanese speculative literature and the "Nie Xiaoqian" character in the Chinese classical masterpiece "Strange Tales of a Lonely Studio".The fourth chapter explores the use of four intertextual techniques of quoting,imitating,parody,and collage in the novel on the basis of close reading of the text.On the basis of affirming the value of the intertextuality of novels,the conclusion reflects on the negative impact of the abuse of intertextual techniques.
