The title is an important part of newspaper news. This paper takes the Malaysian Chinese newspaper Sin chew daily as the research object, selects 660 Title Corpus, and investigates the characteristics of the title language of Malaysian Chinese newspapers based on three grammatical plane views.Based on the syntactic plane,we found that the headlines are loosely organized, with neat counterparts, abbreviations, and symmetrical formatting;Malaysian Chinese was influenced by early modern Chinese in Chinese Mainland to a considerable extent. At the same time,in today’s diversified and globalized world,Chinese also has a certain influence on Modern Chinese, which is reflected in the mutual influence and absorption of sentence patterns. It is found that the unconventional titles in the traditional sense have the tendency of legalization;Malaysian Chinese was influenced by early modern Chinese in Chinese Mainland to a considerable extent.Malaysian Chinese also has a certain influence on Modern Chinese, which is reflected in the mutual influence and absorption of sentence patterns. On the semantic plane, the ambiguous sentences caused by the omission of the sign word in the "being" sentences have a tendency to coagulate;the passive sentences of the headlines focus on the subject matter and omit the application;the phenomenon of "multiple use of the word and repeated use" makes the language of the headlines somewhat flat, homogeneous and lacking. At the pragmatic level, the coexistence of the spoken language in the headline and the very formal written language in the ancient language has formed the characteristic of the intertwined and interlocking headlines of Sin chew Daily;the moderation mechanism based on the expansion of information adds extraordinary information to the headline, and the information is obviously surplus, based on the pragmatic purpose;the headline has also fully absorbed the unique Malaysian words, including a large number of southern dialects, into its own Chinese grammar system.
