Malaysia is a country form by few ethnic groups,therefore,it has the multicultural society background.After Malaysia has its independent,the people of Malaysia start living together and their culture are also effecting each other.After many years of living together,the culture of three main ethnic groups have become the specialty of the country.A part from culture,language is one of the biggest change in the whole culture develop progress.Because of the culture background,Malaysia's Chinese language has develop to the path that is different from China's Chinese language.The most tangible part is the terms that both Malaysia's Chinese language and China's Chinese language use.The main reason is that Malaysia's Chinese language is effect by the dialect language,English language and Malay language.Malaysia's Chinese language is following China's Chinese language on its developing starting from pass few years.As it use more and more term of China's Chinese language,it is very importance to teach and spread the knowledge of differentiating Malaysia's Chinese vocabulary and China's Chinese vocabulary.With the efficacious knowledge explain on the problem stated above will be a very effective way of spreading the knowledge.Therefore,in order to understand the differences between Malaysia's Chinese vocabulary and China”s Chinese vocabulary,the paper will discuss on the history of the Malaysia's Chinese and their Chinese education history.Besides that,the paper will also collect the term from Malaysia Chinese text book and activity book.Follow by discussing the relationship between Malaysia's Chinese language and Malaysia's culture.Lastly,the paper will provide some suggestion for those who are using Chinese language in Malaysia.The content of the paper will be divided into four parts.First chapter will be discussing on the history of Malaysia's Chinese people and their Chinese education.In the end of the chapter will also provide the understanding of “Malaysia's Chinese language”.Second chapter will provide the terms that collect from the textbook and activity book.Third chapter will be discussing on the relationship between Malaysia's Chinese language and Malaysia's culture in order to understand the development of Malaysia's Chinese language.Fourth chapter will be the suggestion to the people who are using or learning Malaysia's Chinese language.As a result,the Chinese text book and worke book of Malaysia's Chinese primary school are having very few Malaysia's Chinese vocabulary.Most of the vocabulary used have been changed to China's Chinese vocabulary.Also from the result,year 1 and year 2 are not having any Malaysia's Chinese vocabulary in their text book and work book.Most of the Malaysia's Chinese vocabulary are use in higher level classes.The vocabulary found in text book and work book are those who affected by English and Malay language.Most of the words affected by dialect are not allow to use in school and written language.In the other hands,Malaysia's Chinese words are very related to the culture of Malaysia.After the contact of every culture in Malaysia,it had created words that only Malaysian understand.But,there are still differences between words learned in school and the words use in daily life.In order to help students and teachers to understand and differentiate both kind of Chinese vocabulary,this thesis will then provide few suggestions for both students and teachers.
