As a gathering place of the national industry and commerce,Shanghai was also one of the centers of the national publishing.A large number of bureaucratic capital publishing institutions were concentrated in Shanghai,propagating the thought of the National Government,which brought a great impact to the development of Shanghai publishing.After the liberation of Shanghai,the Communist Party of China quickly took over the Shanghai’s bureaucratic capital publishing institutions,so that it could serve the people’s publishing under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.Therefore,the whole takeover work not only fully manages and reforms the bureaucratic capital publishing institutions,but also shows that the Communist Party of China attaches great importance to the cultural life of the people.At the same time,it also plays a vital role in stabilizing the cultural market and consolidating the new regime.The thesis takes the Shanghai’s bureaucratic capital publishing institutions from1949 to 1950 as the object of research,and explores its takeover process by summarizing and analyzing relevant archives and other materials.The thesis mainly focuses on four chapters.The first chapter is to introduce the general situation and background of the Shanghai’s bureaucratic capital publishing institutions for the takeover before liberation.The second chapter is to summarize the preparatory work of the training in Danyang and mobilizing the organizations of Shanghai before the takeover of the Shanghai’s bureaucratic capital publishing institutions.The third chapter is to analyze the reception work of the Shanghai’s bureaucratic capital publishing institutions,and also briefly analyzes the implementation of military control of the semi-bureaucratic capital publishing institutions formed by the combination of bureaucratic capital and private capital.The forth chapter is to elaborate on the related work of the management and transformation of the Shanghai’s bureaucratic capital publishing institutions.After research and analysis,this thesis think that the Communist Party of China has made full preparations for the takeover of the Shanghai bureaucratic capital publishing institutions in advance at the beginning of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.According to the specific situation,the Communist Party of China actively formulated the plan of takeover,make the Shanghai bureaucratic capital publishing institutions to take over,so that the Shanghai’s bureaucratic capital publishing institutions was successfully taken over,which has timely consolidated the position of the Communist Party of China in the publishing,and has been recognized and supported by the people,laying the foundation for the further construction of the people’s publishing that serves the people wholeheartedly.
