A Comparative Analysis Of VR Documentaries And Traditional Documentarie

In recent years,VR technology has developed rapidly,and various industries have derived a new model of "VR+".On the basis of pursuing the essence of authenticity,VR documentary and traditional documentary reach the same destination by different paths,and have broad development prospects.Compared with the mature traditional documentary,VR documentary is still in the nascent stage,and there are great differences from traditional documentary in the creation paradigm and audience experience.The aphasia of traditional camera language and the integration of interactive experience make VR documentary urgently need to explore a new creation grammar.This paper makes a comparative study on the main creation methods of VR documentary and traditional documentary,analyzes the common points and differences between VR documentary and traditional documentary through the real nature of documentary,creation paradigm,audience experience and other aspects,and gives feedback to the creation,gives play to the sensory freedom advantages brought by VR technology,and avoids the creation challenges brought by panoramic display.This paper aims to summarize practical experience and methods combined with the filming and production process of VR documentary.
