A Study Of Marx’s Cultural View And Its Contemporary Value

In the Report of the Party’s 20 th National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping made a major strategic plan of The major strategic plan of "promoting cultural self-confidence and self-improvement,and creating new glory for socialist culture" points out the way forward for promoting Chinese culture to the world.At present,China is undergoing great changes unseen in a century.Theories such as "cultural confidence" and "cultural power" guide people to approach cultural issues from a philosophical perspective.As an important part of Marxist theoretical system,Marx’s cultural view is of great significance for us to establish a system of inheriting excellent traditional culture and to construct and develop socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.Based on the classic works of Marxism,this paper makes comprehensive use of theoretical interpretation,text analysis and other methods,draws on the research results of other scholars on Marx’s cultural view,and takes the development of Marx’s thought as the main line to carry out a systematic and integral analysis and understanding of Marx’s cultural view.This research is divided into the following four parts: the first part is the introduction of the background and significance of the topic,the analysis of domestic and foreign research status,and the description of the research content and research methods of the paper;The second part mainly combs Vico’s philosophy of history with cultural philosophy as the core Kant’s rationalism cultural thought and Morgan’s rational thinking of cultural development are all theoretical sources of Marx’s cultural thought.At the same time,it sorted out the development of Marx’s cultural view from the bud to the formation and then to the perfection from the doctoral Thesis,the Introduction to the Critique of Hegel’s Philosophy of Right,the Economic and philosophical Manuscript of 1844,the German Ideology,the Communist Party Manifesto,Das Kapital and other works,providing theoretical reference for the study of the main content.The third part elaborates the main contents of Marx’s cultural view from the perspectives of the origin and essence of culture,the attributes and characteristics of culture,the core and development of culture,the trend and destination of culture,which lays a theoretical foundation for the study of cultural value.The fourth part takes the main content of Marx’s cultural view as the starting point,and analyzes from three dimensions of promoting cultural identity,enhancing cultural consciousness and realizing cultural confidence.It is not only a deep understanding of Marx’s cultural view,but also a study and discussion of Marx’s cultural view guiding the socialist cultural construction with Chinese characteristics.To sum up,in the process of the construction of a powerful cultural country,in order to have a more transparent understanding of socialist culture,more profound research and more advanced innovation,we must pursue the source,and take Marx’s view of culture as the starting point of research,which makes the study of Marx’s view of culture become more important and urgent.
