There are often virtual plants with strange shapes and artistic sense in science fiction film and television works,giving people an exaggerated and amazing visual experience.Virtual plant modeling design is an important part of science fiction film and television art design,between the real and virtual virtual plants,interspersed in science fiction scenes,the atmosphere of science fiction movies,content novelty and stunning has the main role.With the advancement of three-dimensional digital technology,the shape design of virtual plants in science fiction movies is more mysterious and beautiful,and virtual plants are plants that cannot be seen in real life,but make people feel realistic,and have a special role in the plot.It mainly stems from the reference to real plants,and on the basis of reality,through exaggeration,deformation,distortion and grafting and other artistic means,to achieve the fusion of real and virtual,so as to give people a familiar and unfamiliar visual feeling.The research content of this paper is mainly divided into the following three parts:Analyze the virtual plants in the existing excellent science fiction film and television works,summarize the form,color,material,functional symbolism and other presentation effects of their virtual plant modeling,considering that the plants in the science fiction film and television works have a functional nature and have a certain impact on their own shape,so from four aspects to analyze the shape of virtual plants,analyze their artistic feelings.Summarize the creation theory of virtual plants,starting from the logic of building a virtual world with reference to real plant shapes,scientific and artistic imagination of virtual plants,and use grafting,collage,exaggeration and other plastic arts to form the strange shape of virtual plants.Finally,the creation rules of virtual plants are applied to the project practice,and the science fiction animation project "Daddy’s Dinosaur Friends Crossing the Dinosaur World" is used as a practical case to test the feasibility of virtual plant creation theory in practice.This article is about the plastic art research of virtual plants in science fiction film and television,with the research ideas of analysis,summary and practice,to explore the artistic presentation law of virtual plant modeling,and summarize the creation methods for practice.On the basis of plastic arts,this paper hopes to seek the strange code of plant modeling of science fiction films,find a creation method that is more suitable for the practice of creators,and make personal contributions to the theoretical research related to science fiction film and television.
