The Relevance Of The Song Dynasty Flower And Bird Painting Under The Influence Of Neo-Confucianism

the art history of China have been developed and changed for five thousand years from the Stone Age of Chinese, so it has a rich contents, meanwhile, the art of China has its unique character and appearance because of its long history. A art cannot generate and develop without human society, the art is a kind of social ideology and it is superstructure of economy, the superstructure establishes on politics, law, ethics, philosophy, religion and etc., which are based on economy. So the paintings of Chinese, as important part of the Chinese art, stand in the forest of world art owing to its unique national characteristics and artistic features. While confucianism is the most important part of Chinese traditional culture, since confucianism emergence, its philosophy affects the entire Chinese society and it is still affects, moreover, the impact on the traditional Chinese painting is same.The paper, basing on this information, searches by some steps. Firstly, the concept, emergence and development of science should be reviewed, which can help easily to understand the science. Secondly, the flower and bird paintings of Song Dynasty,which are affected by Neo-confucianism are researched relationship between social and ideological aspects. Then, the flower and bird paintings of Song Dynasty, which are under influence of the Neo-Confucianism, are analyzed by image and culture and created by thinking, in order to find the emergence and development effect of Neo-confucianism to painting of Song Dynasty. Finally, beginning with the form language of China paining, then this paper compares with different form languages, for example:the concept of paining, contents, layout, composition, color, space and lines, and focus on the flower and bird painting, then this paper try to figure to research influences of Neo-confucianism on various aspects and indicate inheritance and development of flower and bird of painting to Neo-confucianism.Neo-confucianism, which can most represent the thought of Philosophy in Song Dynasty, has a great influence on the general and construction of thought culture in the Song Dynasty. It is meaning for inheriting and promoting Chinese traditional classic culture to research the concept of painting of Song Dynasty and the thought of Neo-confucianism which hides in the paintings, and explore Chinese painting inherent humanistic spirit and cultural connotation, whether it is a continuation or the reverse, it cannot be without the concept of Song Dynasty painting. Then, Neo-confucianism and painting can affect and communication each other. No matter the performance of function of painting on Neo-confucianism or the performance of thought of Neo-confucianism on painting, the relationship between them are indispensable. The artistic conception of Chinese painting cannot exist without the Neo-confucianism, meanwhile, Neo-confucianism will not be a philosophy which can impact on Chinese society, when it is without the painting. Hence, this paper start with flower and bird painting, illustrate unique charm of Neo-confucianism in painting of Song Dynasty, and provide the philosophy of thinking for searching of flower and bird painting in Song Dynasty.
