| Emotions are present in every day life.Although we don’t talk about "emotions" often,we live in an emotional atmosphere all the time.People are concerned with the emotions of the "self" as well as the emotions of the "other".At the same time,on the one hand, emotions are the epitome of people’s life state, accompanying everyone;on the other hand, there are differences in the way individuals express their emotions. For artists, creation is an important way to release emotions. In Tolstoy’s view, art is used to transmit the emotions one has felt to others. Therefore, people who are engaged in art are good at tapping into their innermost emotions, evoking them through artistic practice, and making them tangible, concrete, and embodied. The same is true for the series of personal copper prints,"Into the Play".It comes from my emotional perception, emotional memory, and emotions are complex and multi-dimensional.Color,an important element of painting, also has the same quality, and it is this quality that gives it its ineffable meaning. Therefore,in "Into the Game",I chose to use copperplate as a genre to express private, hidden and abstract emotions through the use of color. In this paper,I take personal emotions as the subject matter, and supplement them with psychological theories to discuss my expressions and reflections in the creation of copperplate prints. On the one hand,it helps to broaden one’s art creation horizon at the theoretical level, improve art creation quality, and finally realize the accurate expression of emotions through the use of color in copperplate creation;on the other hand,it is expected to provide a vivid case of art practice for contemporary copperplate creation and provide a new perspective for copperplate research. This paper is divided into four chapters, based on the emotional memories generated from daily life experiences and the emotional perceptions generated from watching movies and dramas, and extends to a deeper visual presentation of them,i.e.,how to express emotions with color in the creation of copperplate prints. The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly explains the reason and significance of the topic and the method of the research. The second and third chapters are from internal and external, from theoretical thinking to practical exploration.Chapter 2 analyzes the sources of personal emotional perception and emotional memory in the creative stage. The third chapter takes the example of "Into the scene" and specifically analyzes the effect of color on "happy emotion" and "optimistic emotion" in "positive emotion" and "sad emotion" in "negative emotion".The third chapter analyzes the emotional expression of "sadness" and "loneliness" in "positive emotions" and "negative emotions". |
