The Xida Temple in Beiting is the only remaining Buddhist site of Gaochang Uighur in the north of the Tianshan Mountains.This paper focuses on the unique Uygur style in the mural art of the site.Among them,as the landmark mural of the site,"the Compete for Buddhist relics mural" shows the integration of diverse cultures,regional characteristics and ethnic localization.Through the image analysis of the three aspects of "character modeling","color expression" and "space layout" in the mural painting,this study expounds the specific performance of the painting language features of Xida Temple in Beiting,and combined with the copying experience of Xida Temple mural painting,discusses the problems and thoughts about the current copying production techniques caused by its painting language features and material composition.
