Wang Bochou is named Shizou,now has "The Collection of Poems of Mr.Wang Shizhou" in circulation.Wang Bochou was one of the "Forty Sons" of the Restoration during the Wanli period.He wandered around Kunshan,Jiangsu Province,and was famous for his ancient poetry and writing in Wu Zhong.Wang Bochou had frequent interactions with the "Seven Sons" and practiced the theory of retro-poetry of the Seven Sons of poetry and literature,and devoted himself to poetry throughout his life,and was known for his ancient Yuefu poems,poetic songs and regulated verse.The first chapter introduces Wang Bohou’s family background and life.The ancestors of Wang Bohou started their family in a populace,and their father was already in a low position.In his early years,he entered Shuntianfu School,retreated from the rest of life,and wandered around the countryside.He has accumulated extraordinary literary talent by chanting his noble ambitions.His life in his later years is sparse,but he is poor and happy.The second chapter examines the twenty volumes of Wang Bochou’s "The Collection of Poems of Mr.Wang Shizhou",and explores the version of the collection of the "The Collection of Poems of Mr.Wang Shizhou" on the basis of the clarification of the ancient books engraved and collected in the Ming Dynasty.The poems of Wang Bochou were included in the part of Qian Qian Yi’s "Anthology of poems of the Dynasties",which influenced the acceptance of Wang’s poems in the Qing Dynasty,so we will try to extract and organize them.The third chapter mainly examines the scope of Wang Bochou’s friendships.During his life,he made friends with a wide range of people,including Wang Shizhen,Zhang Dafu and other officials,painters,opera singers,immortals,Buddhists and local literary scholars in the region of Wuzhong.The fourth chapter delves into the content of Wang Bozhou’s poetry.Wang Bohou’s poetry is full of passionate and profound language,and many people are also burdened by emotions.In his poetry of expressing emotions and aspirations,there are works that express emotions directly,works that mock and carefree,and works that express the feelings of friends.Leisure emotions are reflected in mountains and rivers,and there are also songs about mountains and rural areas.He often places great emphasis on the scenery of the wilderness,the famous scenic spots in the countryside,and the elegant gardens.When using poetry and writing,he sings about the beauty of mountains and rivers and the joy of leisurely travel.The poet expresses his personal feelings in the form of poetry,expresses his personal interest in life,and discusses painting and poetry with themes.The fifth chapter mainly introduces the artistic characteristics of Wang Bozhou’s poetry.The poet is skilled in using fantastical imagery to create an imaginative atmosphere of the vast world,and can also depict scenery with emotions,using a high pitched tone to describe the tender side of frontier life.Returning to reality,poets can also showcase the beautiful scenery of Jiangnan with the technique of line drawing.The sixth chapter mainly discusses Wang Bozhou’s ancient poetry creation.Wang Bozhou’s ancient Yuefu poetry tends to incorporate the themes of female love and Li Bai’s ancient Yuefu,and most of them inherit the essence of Yuefu.The Five Ancient Poems are based on Jiang Yan’s "Thirty Miscellaneous Poems",and the Seven Ancient Poems and Song Line Poems are strongly influenced by the "Shanren Xia" culture.
