Research On The View Of Life In Xunzi

The academic research on the life outlook of Xunzi is often carried out in the framework of pre-Qin life philosophy,life and death,health preservation,bioethics,and "life" concepts.Although it seems to be more macroscopic and holistic,it is easy to appear Desolate and scattered.It is precisely based on this research status and the research value of Xunzi’s view of life,aiming to focus on the study of Xunzi’s view of life under the reference of pre-Qin’s view of life,so as to more clearly show the life view of Xunzi and others.The similarities and differences of the views on life of the philosophers.At the same time,although there are discussions on the life outlook in Xunzi in the existing research,more researches are conducted from the perspective of life and death.And it did not show the changes of meaning and theory contained in the three different levels of his view of life in the form of progressive life.Therefore,this thesis is committed to incorporating predecessors’ research on Xunzi from different perspectives,and strives to integrate the life outlook of Xunzi in a multi-dimensional and multi-dimensional(containing politics,ethics,labor,and view of nature and humanity).Fully and clearly presented.The outlook on life in Xunzi has a dynamic change of "progressive",that is,the process of "for oneself" that is constantly improving.His famous "Tuzhiren" theory is also becoming "adult" in such continuous changes and progress.Therefore,the life view of Xunzi can be classified into three stages,namely: natural life,"pseudo life" and "sincere life".Among them,there are man-made("pseudo")motives and "possibility" in natural life,and they are trapped in the level of "painted people" because of the "heart obscuration".Therefore,although Xunzi has absorbed the natural human nature theory of Zhuangzi,it has moved towards "pseudo-life",that is,artificial transformation based on the "nature" of life to make it conform to social values.Moreover,its "empty one and quiet" unmasking work is also deeply influenced by Taoism.In addition,the thoughts of Guanzi and Mozi also have many influences on how to rationally place desires and other economic means in the Gongfu theory of Xunzi.Its "sincerity life" is based on the combination of "sincerity" and "nature and hypocrisy" and "adult",and finally becomes the moral life of "external and internal cooperation".It can be said that Xunzi’s view of life encompasses the theory of heaven and man,the theory of cultivating the body,the theory of mind and nature,the theory of politics and the theory of edification,etc.It is the unity of the individual and the community,the unity of cultivating oneself and ruling others,the unity of ritual and righteousness and life.In short,it means "people ruling the world" or "people practising the Way".The progression of "external and internal integration" is not only the result of a critical absorption of the thought of the pre-Qin schools,but also a new exploration of the preQin Confucian view of life.
