The International Conference of Historical Sciences is the largest and most prestigious historical conference in the world today. As far as the main body of the conference is concerned,it has made a great contribution to the "mutual understanding" of different peoples, countries and ideologies. Therefore,it known as the "Olympics of History".The 19 th century was known as the "century of history," so as historical research in European countries continued to develop, historians in those countries needed to collect, exchange, and exchange information on the activities of national historical schools, specific historical research and new methods of historical research, and the state of history teaching in secondary schools and higher education institutions.Between 1900 and 1923,European historians organized five "international conferences of historians" of nearly 1,000 participants. At the Fifth Brussels Conference in 1923,it was decided to establish the International Committee of Historical Sciences,a regular body subordinate to the League of Nations(the predecessor of the United Nations),to hold conference every five years, and from the Sixth Conference onwards the name was changed to "The International Conference of Historical Sciences(hereinafter referred to as the "International Conference of History").The 23 rd International Conference of History has been held over a period of more than a century, during which Russia has gone through three periods: Imperial Russia, the Soviet Union, and now the Russian Federation.Russian historians have been represented at the International Conference of Historical Sciences since the first Conference in Paris in 1900,and have been present at every Conference except the fifth, ninth, and most recently, the twenty-third.The 13 th Conference held in Moscow in 1970 was the largest of its kind, with 3,305 delegates, and the discussions on historical methodology at this Conference are still of great importance to the world of historical research. The discussions on historical methodology at this Conference are of great importance for the study of world history to this day. From the strict ideological control of the "Stalinist model" in the 1930 s,to the political and ideological debates with Western historians during the Cold War,to the gradual development of an open and pluralistic approach to history,Russian historians established academic ties with historians of various countries in a confrontational manner, and the results of foreign historiography influenced the development of Russian historiography. The popularity of econometric methods in the 1970 s,for example, provided more scientific assistance in the study of Russian economic history, demography, etc. In the 1990 s,with the collapse of the Soviet Union and the rise of a global view of history, the new Russian historical studies,in addition to the critical inheritance of the historical findings of the Soviet period, diversified their fields of study, intersecting with environmental and disease studies, among other disciplines. In addition, the archival documents presented by historians of the Russian Federation at several Conference at the beginning of the 21 st century have contributed to the study of the history of World War II and the history of Russian-American relations. The history of changes in the history of Russian historiography is also recorded in the100-year history of the International Conference of History. This paper includes three parts: introduction, main text and conclusion. The first part is the introduction, which mainly includes the object and significance of the selected topic, the current situation of domestic and foreign research, the research method, and the innovation and shortcomings. The second part is the main text, which consists of five chapters, including chapters 2,3,4,5,and 6.Chapter 2 introduces the mechanism of the International Conference of Historiography and the participation of Russian historians in three different periods: Imperial Russia, the Soviet Union, and the Russian Federation today, providing a background for the presentations made by Russian historians at the Conference and the debates with historians from other countries. The third chapter presents the evolution of Russian historiography and the achievements of Russian historians in the field of historiography in the context of the "Methodology" section of the International Conference of Historiography.Chapters 4,5,and 6 present a summary of the reports and research highlights of Russian historians in the key sections of the Conference, including economic, political, and cultural history, from the perspective of specific historical research in the microcosm. The third part concludes the paper with a summary of the contributions of Russian historians at the International Conference of History and the changes and impact of the Conference on Russian historiography.
