A Study On The Trend Of Centennial Military Lyrics Creation

As a manifestation of military culture,the military lyrics are the microcosm of military construction and the condensation of military history and culture.The Chinese People’s Liberation Army lyrics,which have essential differences from from other military lyrics,are a unique cultural existence and also the research object of this paper.This paper takes a perspective of lyrics culturology.The first chapter examines the relationship between the Chinese People’s Liberation Army lyrics and the times.It mainly focuses on three time periods: establishment in the national salvation movement and the baptism of artillery fire(1927-1949),expansion in the political movement and social reform(1950-1976),and prosperity under the call of policies and times(1977 to present),inspecting the cultural connotations and historical precipitation of Chinese People’s Liberation Army military lyrics in the past hundred years.The second chapter focuses on the “invariance” and“change” in the creation of military lyrics over the past hundred years,reflecting on the social and cultural connotations of military lyrics,and summarizes the historical inheritance and new changes in the times of military lyrics.On the one hand,military lyrics uphold a consistent cultural adherence,showing aesthetic independence with the continuation of a vigorous momentum,the inheritance of combat qualities,and the carrying of social values.On the other hand,military lyrics seek breakthroughs in inheritance,absorb the essence of creation from the times and people,respond to the call of the times,integrate the connotation of the times,combine the cultural needs of the audience,and move towards diversified styles,three-dimensional emotions and diverse ways of expression,realize an aesthetic turn that combines sublime and popularization,complete self transformation.Based on the discussion on the era characteristics and cultural connotation direction of military lyrics in the First Two Chapters.The third chapter explores the internal reasons for the creative direction of military lyrics from the perspectives of military strategy adjustment,implementation of literary and artistic policies,social changes and the development of the times,and ponders on the problem of publicity of personality and sublime resolution,poetical and aesthetic deficiency,creative fracture and weakness.While grasping the creative situation and development direction of military lyrics,we hope to promote the healthy development of military lyrics.
