Analysis Of Domestic Animation Character Modeling Design

As a visual symbol of ideation,animated role modeling can not only reflect the identity of the role,highlight the personality of the role,explain the social background,reflect the spirit of The Times,but also guide and cultivate the audience’s aesthetic psychology,transmit and promote the excellent Chinese civilization.From the remarkable national chara cteristics in the "Chinese School" period,to the imitation of American and Japanese animation styles in the 1990s,and to the return to the traditional aesthetic in the new century,the domestic animation character modeling design has undergone several changes in style,and finally turned to regain the charm of national culture.No matter "Uproar in Heaven" and "Ne Zha" make Chinese animation gain a firm foothold on the world stage,or phenomenons such as "Monkey King:Monkey King Is Back" and "Ne Zha" break over 1 billion box office legends,all of these examples show that "ethnicity" is the foundation of domestic animation in China and the world.The development of The Times also alerts us to the fact that returning to the path of "national character" should also examine the realistic context.Promoting the integration and complementation of national character and modernity in character modeling design is the practical requirement of The Times for the development of domestic animation.This paper focuses on "Analysis of domestic animation character modeling design".First of all,based on the clear definition and basic role of character modeling design,it summarizes the style presentation of domestic animation character modeling design.Secondly,by observing a large number of domestic classic animation works,this paper analyzes the uniqueness of their role modeling design,and draws the conclusion from the two dimensions of external image and inner spirit:domestic animation characters integrate regional cultural elements and dynasty popular elements in costume design;In the body movements of the reference to the traditional drama performance;In the character hair style reference to the ancient Chinese hairstyle;In the spiritual pursuit,it emphasizes advocating freedom,flaunting individuality and "loyalty,filial piety and integrity,benevolence,justice,propriety and wisdom".Finally,I put emphasis on the analysis of the role modeling design of the graduation work "Xiaolongjing Looking for Family",and pointed out its innovative attempts to break through the problems of domestic animation modeling "ugly"tendency and the lack of national character of the role image,and the conclusion of the reference suggestions for the future Chinese animation role modeling design.
