Reflections On The Human Nature Of Liu Cixin’s Science Fiction Creation

Liu Cixin,a famous contemporary Chinese science fiction writer,won the 73 rd Hugo Award for "Best Long Form Novel" in 2006 for "Three Bodies",and the "Once Upon a Time on Earth" trilogy has gained a large number of readers both at home and abroad,to a certain extent promoting the development of Chinese science fiction.The mysterious space,advanced science and technology,and great civilization described by Liu Cixin together construct an imaginative and logical universe.He also absorbed the techniques of foreign science fiction and incorporated them into his own works.This paper starts with the thinking of human nature and moral ethics in Liu Cixin’s science fiction novels,and analyzes the human nature thinking in Liu Cixin’s novels from the four dimensions of human nature,social attributes,rationality and morality based on Marx’s relevant exposition of human nature.The main body of the paper is divided into four parts.The first chapter analyzes the trend and changes of human nature in the face of survival crisis and the rapid development of science and technology in the social situation from the perspective of social attributes.Analyze the internal relationship between the material world and the spiritual world from the plot content,ask the question of where human beings are going under the cosmic survival dilemma,and think deeply and reflect on the future human nature changes under the rapid development of science and technology;The second chapter starts with the character image,combines the rationality and morality of human,and explains the concrete expression of human nature.Analyze the choices made by the main characters and heroes in different extreme environments,reveal different values and arouse readers’ thinking;It also analyzes the unique racial image and world image of science fiction works,and analyzes the good and evil of human nature from different angles;The third chapter starts with the relationship between anti-utopia and science fiction literature,analyzes the anti-utopian characteristics of Liu Cixin’s human nature thinking,the author consciously describes the evil of human nature,and analyzes it from the aspects of world construction,plot conflict,technical thinking,etc;The fourth chapter starts with the writing of human nature,and talks about how the author conceives the text behind the creation of images and thinking of human nature,what worries the era has given the author,the symbolization and instrumentalization of characterization,and the unique writing style of science fiction;The conclusion part briefly summarizes Liu Cixin’s thought of human nature in the world of science fiction.Liu Cixin added his own unique thinking on human nature to his cruel sci-fi creation,and with his unique sense of social responsibility,expressed his worries about science and technology,human beings and human survival and morality,and also brought a lot of thinking to readers.
