The role of music organizations in the dissemination and performance of Henry Purcell’s music in the 8th century has not been fully studied to this day. However, the activities of 18 th century musicologists deeply influenced people’s thinking about Purcell, and it was not until the mid-20 th century that the programming choices of some key figures helped drive certain works to become music classics.Purcell’s most famous work is his 1689 opera Dido and Aeneas(Keates,1995,p,50),but one of his most famous songs is The Moment of Music(Keates,1995,p,236).This article mainly includes an introduction to Purcell’s life,an introduction to the work "Moments of Music",and my understanding and analysis of this work.In my learning process,I fell in love with its seemingly simple texture structure, skillful use of text painting and imagery.
