| Jin Shengtan was a famous literary critic at the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty.His works on Tang poetry criticism include Guanhua Hall’s Poems on Selecting and criticizing Tang Talents and Poem Interpretation of Changjing Hall,which reflect Jin Shengtan’s unique poetics concept,personalized standard of poetry selection and original method of decomposition and interpretation of poetry,which have certain research value.Therefore,it is necessary to carefully sort out the interpretation process and characteristics of Jin Shengtan’s poetic criticism and grasp the whole,analyze his poetic criticism practice from the perspective of hermeneutics,and explore the value of his poetic thought and poetic criticism.The first chapter introduces the life story of Jin Shengtan,researches related documents and materials,analyzes the contradiction between his deviant character and his inner Confucian orthodox thoughts by analyzing his cultural environment,and summarizes the influence of his melancholy and sentimental character on literary criticism by closely reading Jin Shengtan’s Tang poems.The second chapter summarizes the selection criteria of Jin Shengtan’s poems.Out of the understanding of the rules of poetry creation,Jin Shengtan pays attention to the mature rhythmic poems of the middle and late Tang Dynasties,but also recognizes the normative role of rhythmic poems of the early Tang Dynasty in the formation of rhythmic poems.In terms of the understanding of the structure of poems,Jin Shengtan prefers poems with obvious transition and combination.The content shows the complementary characteristics of "gentle and sincere" and "seeking novelty".The third chapter analyzes Jin Shengtan’s method of poem interpretation,starting from the conclusion of the title,the former solution,the latter solution of the three parts of the unique role and mutual relations,summarizes the content of Jin Shengtan decomposition method.The decomposition method is to divide the rhythmic poetry according to its structure,analyze the meaning and interrelationship of each part,so as to explore the meaning composition and artistic flavor of the poem,which reflects the understanding and application of the rhythmic poetry structure of Jin Shengtan.The fourth chapter analyzes the tendency of forced interpretation generated by Jin Shengtan’s interpretation activities.Jin Shengtan combines the idea that Tang poetry does not depict sceneries,sceneries means sustains,with Du Fu’s all words and sentences have sustains",presupposes Du Fu’s position of being faithful to the emperor,and believes that sceneries have sustains through the decomposition,grasp and reorganization of the poetic structure,which has a tendency of forced interpretation.Jin Shengtan also applied this tendency of compulsory interpretation to the interpretation of the poetry of the early Tang Dynasty.By analyzing the pre-intention of the compulsory interpretation,we can accurately grasp his interpretation of these poems praising the"prosperous era".The motivation of his interpretation is to standardize the moral code through the interpretation activities,which reflects his personal poetics thought and pursuit of life value.Jin Shengtan’s interpretation of Tang poetry is of hermeneutic value and has a profound influence on later poetry theories.As an interpreter,he consciously interprets Tang poetry,creates new interpretation methods and applies them to practice,and expresses his own poetic thoughts and value orientation.Finally,he constructs his own existence in the interpretation.Such theory and practice reflect the ancient Chinese literary critics to interpret the rules of exploration and application of practice. |
