Research And Application Of Geometric Design Techniques Of Calligraphy In The Republic Of China Perio

The research of this paper is about the geometric design techniques of art characters in the Republican period.The golden period of art characters appeared in the 1930 s.With the rise of the commodity economy and the new cultural trend,Western modern design theories and works came in large numbers,which played an important role in the formation and development of fine art characters,resulting in the emergence of a large number of fine art characters with unique styles and characteristics.Geometry is an important feature of the design techniques of art characters.This paper analyzes the geometric design techniques of art characters,mainly in terms of strokes and structure,in order to study the geometric techniques and provide inspiration and reference for contemporary typeface design.In addition to studying the geometric design techniques,this paper conducts a series of design experiments and applications in conjunction with the medicinal insects of the Chinese culture "Materia Medica",in order to better study and research the principles of geometric design techniques and the rich variations that can be produced through practice.
