Ludwig van Beethoven’s influence in the history of music is extraordinary in several ways.Firstly,the compositional techniques of Beethoven and other composers of his time,such as Haydn and Mozart,thoroughly laid down the tonal functional system of the Classical period,i.e.the major and minor functional harmonic system of today’s harmonics;secondly,Beethoven’s The genre and style of Beethoven’s works span a wide range of dimensions,from instrumental to vocal,from secular to mass,and are not limited to specific forms;finally,Beethoven’s conceptual change in the final stage of composition provided a completely new way of thinking for the opening of Romanticism.And the Thirty-two Sonatas,composed by Beethoven,represent three stages in his musical career,and it is possible to observe in the works the gradual change in compositional style,starting with the early emulation of the styles of Haydn and Mozart,the gradual establishment of Beethoven’s knowledge of harmony,tonal layout,compositional structure and compositional technique,In the middle stage of creation,the inner nature of the works is endowed with more intense emotional conflicts,and the late Beethoven’s reflection on the system of chromaticisation.The 23 rd Sonata of the Thirty-two Sonatas,Opus 57,is one of the representative works of Beethoven’s middle period of composition,so this article chooses this work as a model for the study and divides it into two main parts.The second part discusses the technique of the work,exploring the practice of fast runs,pedals,chord changes,metre,etc.
