| Zhuzhici originated from Bayu area,a folk song mainly about local customs.In the Tang Dynasty,Liu Yuxi,a poet,imitates Nine Songs and creates Zhuzhi poems.When it came to the Qing Dynasty,Zhuzhici was often quoted from local Chronicles as notes to enhance the historical function of Zhuzhici,or to supplement and describe historical facts in the notes to make up for the deficiency of local Chronicles.It makes Zhuzhi Ci an important folk document for the study of regional history.During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty,Yu Shangsi,a native of Zhenning,Guizhou,served successively in Zheng ’an Prefecture,Liping Prefecture,Kaitai County,and Qianxi Prefecture.He wrote one hundred poems called "Mandong Zhuzhi Ci" after he went deep into the minority areas in Guizhou.A large number of firsthand historical materials preserved in the records supplemented and corrected the missing and errors of the local Chronicles of the Qianlong period in the recording of the social events of the minority groups in Guizhou,which has important value of evidenting,supplementing and preserving the records of the ethnic society in Guizhou in the traditional documents and official history books at that time.First of all,based on the traditional document Daoguang Dading Fu Records,which is the earliest collection of 100 pieces of Yu Shangsi’s "Mandong Zhuzhi Ci",this paper makes textual corrections to the two major editions of "The Complete Compilation of Chinese Zhuzhi Ci" and "Guizhou Zhuzhi Ci Collection" compiled by Yu Shangsi,so as to provide correct textual references for historical researchers.Secondly,a systematic review of a large number of historical materials preserved in Man Dong Zhuzhi Ci was conducted to clarify the secondhand historical materials and firsthand historical materials citing former literatures such as Tian Rucheng’s Yan Jing Wen,Shen Xiang’s New Records of Guizhou Atlas,Guo Zizzhang’s Qian Ji,Tian Wen’s Qian Shu and Eertai’s Guizhou Tongzhi,etc.,so as to provide historical materials reference for future generations.That is to say,primary historical data should be used instead of secondary historical data.Again,from the perspective of Mandong Zhuzhi Ci’supplement to the traditional documents of the Qianlong period,To explore the important supplement of "Mandong Zhuzhi Ci" to the social life of the Qing and Baizhong ethnic groups in Guizhou during the Qianlong period,the ethnic handicraft products such as Dong brocade and valley Lin cloth,the ethnic culture represented by the flower drum,the folk custom belief represented by the Luosibu,the diet culture represented by the barhead fish,and the ethnic architecture represented by the Jutang Building,etc.Finally,from the perspective of Mendong Zhuzhi Ci’s supplement to the traditional documents of the Qianlong period,the social and cultural changes of the minority groups in Guizhou during the Qianlong period,such as marriage,funeral,ethnic beliefs,modes of production,clothing and hair accessories,eating habits,ganlan architecture,ethnic customs,and local opera activities,are investigated.In order to supplement and correct the compilation contents of historical records and traditional documents,most of which followed the previous dynasties,but did not investigate the changes in Guizhou ethnic areas during the Qianlong period,resulting in the wrong recording problems and the omission of specific and micro ethnic cultural connotations of traditional documents due to the excessively general andmacro perspective of compilation. |
