Chinese Language Learning Of Students At Watsratong Municipal School In Roi-et,Thailand Needs Survey And Analysis

With the rapid development of China’s economy,China’s comprehensive national strength has also been greatly improved,and the Chinese language promotion and education industry has been booming.Although there are a lot of relevant research data at home and abroad for reference,there are still many thorny problems in reality.Eight public schools established by Roi-et government in Thailand have set up Chinese courses,and the Chinese teaching effect is remarkable.However,there are relatively few research results on the Chinese learning needs of students in Roi-et,while Watsratong Municipal School has a prominent performance in Chinese teaching among all municipal schools.Since 2015,most students of Watsratong Municipal School have passed the HSK and YCT,and some of them have successfully applied for the International Chinese Teacher Scholarship to study in China,which is quite representative in the local community.This paper takes the Chinese learners in junior and senior high schools of Watsratong Municipal School as the research object and adopts literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and other research methods to investigate the learning needs of the Chinese learners in junior and senior high schools of Watsratong Municipal School,find out the existing problems,and explore the corresponding solutions,so as to hope that in the new era brought by the novel coronavirus epidemic,Through this paper,the Thai government,the Ministry of Education and the Chinese-Foreign Language Cooperation Center can have a deeper understanding of and concern about the learning needs of Chinese learners in Roi-et Middle School in Thailand.Meanwhile,it is hoped that the investigation and improvement measures in this paper will be helpful to the Chinese studies of scholars and the teaching of Chinese teachers,so as to further promote the development of Chinese teaching in Thailand.
