The research article “Airline-within-Airline business model and strategy: case study of Qantas Group”(Some notional words in the title of the source text are not capitalized)was published by ELSEVIER B.V in 2021 and published in the journal Transportation Research Procedia.Based on the published data of Qantas and Jetstar Airlines,this research article discusses the successful factors of Aw A business model and analyzes the model by using SWOT analysis,business model canvas,Boston Consulting Group matrix,and game theory so as to put forward the optimal strategic framework of Aw A business model.The translator chooses this text for translation practice to promote the communication in the field of airline management at home and abroad.This report describes,analyzes,and summarizes the translation practice based on Reiss’ Text Typology Theory.Reiss believes that in translating informative texts,translators should take the target language as the guide,focus on the content,pay attention to the logic of the language as much as possible,and use concise language to convey the original information.Based on the theory,this translation practice studies the translation skills and strategies used in the translation process at three levels: lexical,syntactic,and textual,to make the translation concise and logical.In the process of translation,the translator is guided by Reiss’ Text Typology Theory and carries out translation according to the actual situation of the source text.Case studies are made from lexical,syntactic and textual levels to summarize the translation skills used in translation.At the lexical level,the translator maintains the accuracy of the text by using amplification and conversion.At the syntactic level,the translator uses Inversion and combination to keep the text concise and readable.At the textual level,the translator maintains the logic of the text by using cohesion and coherence.At the end of the research,it is found that in the specific translation practice,the translator should adopt appropriate methods or skills to translate,so as to better translate and realize the combination of theory and practice.
