The local writing in Liu Zhenyun’s novels plays an important role in the contemporary literary world.Liu Zhenyun grew up in the countryside of Yanjin,and most of his novels are based on the countryside of Henan.Liu Zhenyun’s local writing has both the characteristics of reality and absurdity,which goes beyond the one-dimensional realistic description of rural regional culture,customs and local landscape of ordinary writers.He uses magic realism to tear apart the traditional time and space shackles and practice Nietzsche’s idea of eternal reincarnations,thus reflecting modern local society with a unique historical mirror.The local writing in Liu Zhenyun’s novels contains abundant characters.In his continuous writing career of more than 40 years,Liu Zhenyun has always devoted his true feelings to the rural society from the standpoint of ordinary people,constantly deepened the focus of local writing,and focused on thinking about the living conditions and lonely psychology of people at the bottom under the changes of The Times.Under the light of "sub-local narrative concept",Liu Zhenyun makes a gap writing on the intersection of urban and rural areas,and points out the tragedy of rural areas under the impact of modern civilization.At the same time,Liu Zhenyun uses diversified narrative strategies to sketch the local society of contemporary China in his novels.In addition to the preface and conclusion,this paper is mainly divided into four chapters:The first chapter analyzes the realistic and absurd local world in Liu Zhenyun’s novels.Based on his own growth background and local landscape,Liu Zhenyun reproduced the local folk customs of Henan Province,built his own imaginary world back to the depths of history,and viewed the problems existing in the current social reality with history as a mirror image.This chapter mainly explores the form of local world in Liu Zhenyun’s works from the realistic representation of local landscape,the realistic writing of local folk custom and the absurd mirror image of local history.The second chapter mainly studies the characters in the local world of Liu Zhenyun’s novels.Liu Zhenyun’s local novels are huge in volume,and there are many characters in them.This chapter mainly shows the local writing image of Liu Zhenyun’s novels from the comic peasant group images,the secular intellectuals,the female images of struggle and loss and the officials under the influence of power,and deeply explores the character and psychological presentation of the characters under the image.The third chapter mainly explores the connotation of local writing in Liu Zhenyun’s novels.Adhering to the principle of continuous writing,Liu Zhenyun constantly deepens his personal understanding of society along with the wave of social development.The connotation of his local novels is closely related to the characteristics and drawbacks of The Times.This chapter mainly analyzes the connotation of the local vision in Liu Zhenyun’s novels from the survival predicament of the bottom characters,the spiritual predicament of Chinese loneliness and the tragedy of the countryside in the process of urbanization.The fourth chapter mainly explores the diversified narrative strategies of Liu Zhenyun’s local writing.Liu Zhenyun always attaches great importance to the diversified use of narrative techniques in the creation of novels,especially the exploration and practice of narrative language,narrative perspective and irony.This chapter mainly discusses the subtlety of Liu Zhenyun’s local writing narrative strategy from the carnival language of "one piece of nonsense",the flowing narrative perspective and the irony of writing joy and sadness.
